Soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid/Portugal) and Didier Drogba (Chelsea/Ivory Coast) stripped off to pose half naked in underwear inspired on their country flags for a photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair (June 2010).

Several other soccer players, including Sulley Muntari (Inter Milan/Ghana), Landon Donavan (L.A Galaxy/USA), Kaká (Real Madrid/Brazil) and Samuel Eto’o (Inter Milan/Cameroon), Pato (A.C Milan/Brazil), Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus [Turin]/Italy), Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan/Serbia), Carlton Cole (West Ham United/England) and Michael Ballack (Chelsea/Germany), also posed for the special “Playing For The World” Vanity Fair photo spread.

You can see all these super hot soccer studs in action during the 2010 FIFA World Cup from June 11 to July 11 in South Africa. I can’t wait! I’m definitely cheering for Portugal and Brazil. I know they are on the same group (Group G), but I believe they can both make it very far in the competition.
