Matt Lauer Cheating On Annette Roque-Lauer Dirty Details
Today Show host Matt Lauer and his wife Annette Roque-Lauer (more photos here), who hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring, have reportedly been living apart for more than two month after Matt moved out of their family home.
The 52 year-old has a womanizer reputation and his wife accused him of cheating when Matt stood her up for Valentine’s Day, choosing to stay in Vancouver, Canada instead of spending some time with her. Matt didn’t leave with the Today Show crew, who were covering the Winter Olympics, because he decided to stay a couple more days.
Matt was allegedly seen drinking and flirting with two pretty Canadian broadcasters. A staff member told Annette about Matt’s flirting with the two women and she confronted him upon his return. Matt denied the accusations, claiming the women were only good friends.
After a couple of nasty arguments between Matt and Annette, he decided to leave their home at least for some time, but he is still involved in his three children’s life and doesn’t want a divorce. NBC is apparently pressuring him to save his marriage and maintain his family man image.
The source said, “Matt is still very involved in his children’s lives. He goes to the family apartment after he finishes his Today duties to see the kids – and picks them up from school. For their sake, he and Annette plan to continue getting together on weekends – and they’ll go to their house in the Hamptons.”
As we previously reported, this is not the first time Matt faces cheating accusations: Matt reportedly had an affair with a married woman just months before his wedding back in 1998; Annette and Matt separated while she was pregnant with their third child in 2006 because she felt like she could not trust her husband. Third time is the charm – Matt and Annette will get a divorce soon.
