Reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt aren’t exactly on speaking terms with their respective families. Heidi is very angry at her mother Darlene Egelhoff for not supporting or accepting her plastic surgery insanity and she even called the cops when her mom paid them a visit on Thursday (May 13).

Mom Darlene was probably trying to check if her daughter was OK after hearing the rumors Spencer was actually holding her hostage in their home (dirty details/photos here). Well, Spencer has also distanced himself from his family because he is an egocentric, selfish and manipulative guy.

Spencer doesn’t speak to their parents or his sister Stephanie Pratt anymore because “he felt his parents would talk to him only about Stephanie and that they charged him with taking care of her,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “He thinks she’s a loser and doesn’t want anything to do with her.”

“They noticed him changing two years ago and stayed by his side. But now it’s too much,” a source tells Us Weekly. “They even took the pictures of him out of their home.”

When does it stop? Speidi are distancing themselves from what is really important in life to prolong their already too long fifteen minutes of fame. I seriously feel sorry for them. They must be really empty inside.

“No one ever visits,” a local tells Us, and the couple rarely leave. “Heidi sits and stares in the mirror, while Spencer plots and schemes on his projects all day,” adds a Pratt source. “He sits on the Internet, watches TV and tries to get press. That is all he does. It’s totally sick.”

Heidi and Spencer have not friends! They alienate everyone one that loves them or tries to help them. This is very sad.
