Rocker Bret Michaels gave his very first TV interview after suffering a brain hemorrhage to Oprah on The Oprah Winfrey Show Wednesday (May 19)- watch video below. Bret revealed he is still having trouble moving his legs, but he is currently doing twice the physical therapy to speed up his recovery.

Bret knows that he was extremely lucky. His 9 year-old daughter Raine said in a taped video, “To think that my dad wouldn’t be growing up with me and my dad wouldn’t be walking me down the aisle for my wedding, it was just really heartbreaking.”

The 47 year-old could not hold back tears when he heard that from his baby girl: “That’s what you think about,” after you suffer such a harrowing ordeal. “It gave me this unsinkable strength. It gave me this amazing courage to want to survive.” Bret is a fighter!
