Casey James “OK, It’s Alright With Me” American Idol Top 3 (VIDEO)
The American Idol Season 9 Top 3 finalists performed two songs each, one chosen by the judges and the other by the contestant, to fight for a spot in the big finale during the Choice Week live show on Tuesday (May 18). Casey James chose to sing Eric Hutchinson’s “OK, It’s Alright” (watch video below).
Casey once again failed to deliver a strong performance. He sounded great but the song choice was absolutely terrible. Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres thought it was alright. Kara DioGuardi wanted him to be fighting for his life and Simon Cowell said Casey sounded like he was “basking for a couple of dollars” instead of competing on what is probably the most important night of his life. We love Casey, but that was really disappointing.
