Lee Dewyze “Hallelujah” American Idol Top 3 (VIDEO)
The American Idol Season 9 Top 3 finalists performed two songs each, one chosen by the judges and the other by the contestant, to fight for a spot in the big finale during the Choice Week live show on Tuesday (May 18). Lee Dewyze was given the toughest challenge of the night by Simon Cowell – to sing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” (watch video below).
That was the moment! That was incredible, beautiful, amazing… wow! Kara DioGuardi said that was an incredible, epic moment and Lee is the heart of the show this season, proclaiming he owned the night and the Idol stage. I think Lee really felt it and just made the song his own. We love him!
