Bret Michaels Hospitalized Again For Heart Condition
Poison’s frontman Bret Michaels, who was interviewed by Oprah on Wednesday after suffering a brain hemorrhage (watch video here), has been hospitalized again this week.
Bret was complaining about “numbness on the left side of his body, predominately his face and hands.” Doctors found he had suffered a “Transient Ischemic Attack”, which is referred to as a “warning stroke”. They also discovered Brey has a hole in his heart (a Patent Forum Ovale) that doesn’t seem to be related to his brain hemorrhage
This heart condition is operable and treatable and for now, Bret will be receiving a daily injection of a blood thinner. Bret’s rep said, he is in “good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be OK. He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again.”
Bret does not deserve all this. It seems to be happening all at once. First the emergency appendectomy, brain hemorrhage and now a hole in his heart… we are praying for Bret.
