Warrant Issued For Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest
As expected Lindsay Lohan, who claims her passport was stolen in Cannes, did not show up for her court hearing this morning. Judge Marsha Revel was merciless, issuing a bench warrant for Lindsay’s arrest because she believes the actress as a drug and alcohol problem to add to her inability to keep scheduled appointments. The bail was set at $100,000.

The stolen passport lame excuse was not enough to convince the judge. And now we know that Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in court the incident had been reported to the authorities. French police has no report of a stolen passport as far back as Tuesday, which means the passport was stolen before and that would give Lindsay plenty of time to get a new one or the lawyer lied and there’s no report.
Lindsay will be able to post bail and remain irresponsibly free until another court hearing is set, but she has to compromise to drink no alcohol, wear a SCRAM bracelet and submit to random drug testing at least once a week. Lindsay to drink no alcohol? Yeah, right!
The actress’ lawyer argued, saying there was no reason to require drug testing, but the judge wasn’t having it because Lindsay was charged with being under the influence of cocaine back in 2007. The judge believes Lindsay has violated her probation and she knew she was going to jail. Enjoy your last moments of freedom, Lindsay! If proven Lindsay violated her probation, she can face up to 180 days in jail.
