Rep. Nikki Haley, who is fighting to become the state of South Carolina first female governor, has been accused of cheating on her husband by a conservative blogger named Will Folks, who claims he had an affair with Nikki several years ago before he was married (more photos below).

“The truth in this case is what it is,” Folks wrote on his blog. “Several years ago, prior to my marriage, I had an inappropriate physical relationship with Nikki.” Folks is allegedly trying to defend himself because someone has leaked proof of their affair to mainstream media.

“This network of operatives has made it abundantly clear that in the process of ‘taking down’ Rep. Haley, they will also stop at nothing to humiliate me, destroy my family and take a sizable chunk out of the credibility this website has managed to amass for itself,” wrote Folks.

South Carolina Governor candidate vehemently denied this accusations. “I have been 100 percent faithful to my husband throughout our 13 years of marriage. This claim against me is categorically and totally false,” Haley, a 38-year-old mother of two, said in a statement. “It is quite simply South Carolina politics at its worst.”

The conservative blogger worked for Mark Sanford as a spokesman and Nikki is Sanford’s protégé. Nikki Haley, who is benefitting from endorsements from South Carolina’s First Lady Jenny Sanford and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, claims she is a victim of dirty politics. Then Nikki should sue Mr. Folks for defamation.
