The American Idol Season 9 Top 4 finalists, who were mentored by actor/musician Jamie Foxx, performed some of the greatest songs from the movies solo and in a duet on Tuesday (May 11). Lee Dewyze dared to tackle one of the most romantic songs in the book, Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose” from “Batman Forever” (watch video below). Is Lee in love? Oh, yes he is!

I actually really enjoyed Lee’s performance probably because his voice his so amazingly beautiful. It wasn’t Lee’s best and the judges basically grilled him for the first time ever. Kara DioGuardi reminded herself Lee is better than what he did last night, while Simon Cowell claimed his performance was verging on karaoke.

Beau Biden, the adult son of Vice President Joe Biden, suffered what doctors believe to be a mild stroke on Tuesday in Delaware.

Biden “was admitted this morning to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware after having what we believe to be a mild stroke, according to a written statement from Dr. Timothy Gardner, medical director of the Center for Heart and Vascular Surgery at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware.

“He is in good spirits and talking with his family at the hospital. He is fully alert, in stable condition and has full motor and speech skills. We expect him to make a complete recovery.”

Beau is the attorney general for the state of Delaware.   A position he has held since 2006.  He is 41-years old.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Beau and his family as he recovers.

American Idol season 9 finalists, Lee Dewyze and Siobhan Magnus apparently developed a very close and intimate relationship and are rumored to be completely in love. The lovebirds will want to keep their relationship a secret at least while Lee is still competing for the Idol title with a big chance of actually winning.

The first hints were dropped when Siobhan was sent packing for her incredibly “pitchy” performance of Shania Twain’s “Any Man Of Mine” (watch video here). Lee was inconsolable and on the verge of tears. As soon as Siobhan was free to hug the remaining contestants, Lee went to her, wrapped his arms around her and did not let go. Oh, love is so beautiful!

Who was eliminated on Dancing With The Stars? The five remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners were forced to present two choreographies, first a classic ballroom dance and an era-themed Latin dance, during the Dancing With The Stars live show on Monday (May 10)- watch videos below.

Our celebs proved that learning two dances in one week is almost impossible unless you’re a dancing machine like Nicole Scherzinger, who got her well-deserved perfect score with a 50’s Paso Doble (watch video here). Nicole deserves to win the DWTS disco ball trophy!

Tonight, one more of our stars will have to leave the dance floor, but it will be a very special results show since we will finally meet our Fantastic Four Dancers, who will compete in the semi-finals next week. In the big finale, we want to see Nicole, Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews.

So who will be in the bottom two this week? There no doubt fierce Niecy Nash and the charming Chad Ochocinco are miles away from the other three celebrity dancers and their technique and performance skills. Niecy has very supportive fans, who saved her booty week after week. Chad is so sweet and funny, so women will vote for him. We hope. One of them must go…

UPDATE: Here we go! Len Goodman reviews last night’s performances. The judges want to see Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough‘s 50′s Paso Doble one more time. This performance earned Nicole her first perfect score (30 = 10+10+10).

UPDATE 2: Nicole is obviously SAFE. And unfortunately, as we predicted, Chad Ochocinco is in the bottom 2. Chad needs to stay! We just love his and Cheryl Burke‘s lovers quarrels. So CUTE. It’s like being a horny teenager all over again. Chad is fun, sweet and has one huge… EGO.

UPDATE 3: College dance competition. We just want the results! Gypsy Kings perform! Oh, the memories! I used to dance to their songs when I was younger! My daddy is a fan! Love them!!

UPDATE 4: Evan Lysacek is SAFE!! That means Niecy Nash is in jeopardy. Niecy vs Chad: who will go home? Erin Andrews is safe, of course! Chad will return for the semi-finals next week. And Niecy says goodbye to the competition. Well done, Niecy!!!

A small spoiler for you: Crystal Bowesox and Lee Dewyze will rock the stage together, while Casey James and Michael ‘Big Mike’ Lynche will melt our hearts during their duet performances. I’m secretly hoping, one of the finalists will make my dream come true and sing the Goo Goo Dolls‘ “Iris“.

Former supermodel Beverly Peele was rushed to the hospital after a car crash in Los Angeles on Monday (May 10). The 35 year-old is currently in a very serious condition at the UCLA Medical Center.

Beverly began her modeling career back in 1987. She appeared on more than 250 magazine covers and in several music videos in the 80’s and 90’s. We wish Beverly a quick and fast recovery.

The details of the tragic death of LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg haven’t been revealed since the authorities are currently investigating the case. Erica’s father, Mel Blasberg can’t really say what happened to his 25 year-old daughter but he hinted that the possible suicide may not be the correct answer.

“At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it,” said Erica’s father, Mel Blasberg, by phone from Nevada. “We’re waiting for the police to make an investigation, it’s a pending investigation. Either way, I lost her and it’s impossible to deal with.”

We don’t know the details. However, Erica was 25 years old with a successful golfing career in front of her and it doesn’t seem she was suffering from depression or had any serious personal issues. We also don’t know if there is a boyfriend/girlfriend involved. Was Erica murdered or was she the victim of a very tragic, unfortunate accident?

UPDATE: According to TMZ, a friend of Erica found her body in her bed on Sunday. Father Mel claims his daughter was very happy and excited to be playing a golf tournament in Alabama this week. Erica had already packed her brand new golf bag in the car for the trip.

The 2010 CMT Music Awards nominations were revealed today (full list of nominees below). Lady Antebellum, who were the big winners of the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards, join Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood at the top of list with three nominations each.

The winners will be announced Wednesday, June 9, 2010.

Golfer Tiger Woods’ swing coach Hank Haney, who said he had his best days in professional golf by Tiger’s side, has announced he is no longer working with him. Oh, the irony! The golfer and Hank will continue to be good friends, but it was Hank’s decision to move on after six years together.

“I have informed Tiger Woods this evening that I will no longer be his coach,” Haney announced on Hankhaney.com Monday evening. “Tiger Woods and I will always be friends, but I believe that there is a time and place for everything and I feel at this time and at this place in my life I want to move forward in other areas.”

Is Tiger finally suffering the consequences of his “transgressions”? Haney leaves and Elin Nordegren will follow. Tiger and Elin are reportedly working on a financial and custody deal since Elin wants to file for divorce as quickly and quietly as possible.
