Several other soccer players, including Sulley Muntari (Inter Milan/Ghana), Landon Donavan (L.A Galaxy/USA), Kaká (Real Madrid/Brazil) and Samuel Eto’o (Inter Milan/Cameroon), Pato (A.C Milan/Brazil), Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus [Turin]/Italy), Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan/Serbia), Carlton Cole (West Ham United/England) and Michael Ballack (Chelsea/Germany), also posed for the special “Playing For The World” Vanity Fair photo spread.

You can see all these super hot soccer studs in action during the 2010 FIFA World Cup from June 11 to July 11 in South Africa. I can’t wait! I’m definitely cheering for Portugal and Brazil. I know they are on the same group (Group G), but I believe they can both make it very far in the competition.

Poison’s Brett Michael’s condition is very serious but there’s finally some good news as it seems he is making slow but steady progress in his long journey of recovery after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

Bret is in a stable condition but remains under observation in the ICU at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. According to Bret’s sister Michelle Sychak, her brother’s speech is good and coherent and “he sounded like himself”. Michelle still thinks “he’ll outlive us all.”

“He’s doing good,” she said. “He’s not by any means out of the woods, but he is getting better every day.” She said the fact that Michaels lived through the initial rupture was “a miracle in itself. I’ve never known anyone that dodged so many bullets in their life, both figuratively and literally.”

Bret’s doctors believe in a full recovery and praise the rocker’s attitude: “Bret’s sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable. He has an unbelievable fight in him and told me what kept him alive at the moment of the hemorrhage was that he ‘did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor.’ It was a combination of Bret’s fight to stay conscious during the hemorrhage and get to the emergency room, and the immediate medical attention provided by our staff at Barrow that enabled us to stabilize his condition.”

Keep fighting Bret!! We keep on praying for his quick and full recovery. Bret has already made plans to go back on tour at the end of this current month (read more details here).

“Georgy Girl” and “Gods and Monsters” star Lynn Redgrave passed away at her Connecticut home surrounded by her children on Sunday night (April 2) after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. Lynn was 67 years old.

Lynn’s family released the following statement, “She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time.”

Lynn was the aunt of late actress Natasha Richardson, who lost her life after a tragic ski accident in Quebec, Canada last year. R.I.P. Lynn Redgrave.

Catherine Bach’s husband Peter Lopez died of an apparent suicide at their Encino home on Friday (April 30) and left a very mysterious suicide note that did not mention the reason to end his life.

Peter normally dropped the kids off at school at about 9 am on Friday. He went back home, hand-wrote a note where he expressed his love for his wife and their two children, asking them for forgiveness. Then he went to the backyard and shot himself in the head.

The music attorney did not only work for Michael Jackson but also for The Eagles and co-produced the movie “Selena”. In the weeks leading up to his death, people closer to Peter said he seemed more stressed but he had refused to tell what was bothering him.

Peter’s mother Eleanor told RadarOnline, “He may have had some business problems, he’s been going in and out for years with this business of his and, you know, enjoying his work, so why would he do this? He liked his work and I used to tell him about programs that I’ve seen of some of his clients. This is not right.Catherine is falling apart. I don’t blame her. She’s in shock. I feel so bad for his girls you know. They loved him so much. They were at school when it happened. Catherine went to go and get them. I just can’t believe this.”

Actress Helen Wagner, best known for her role as Nancy Hughes on CBS soap opera “As The World Turns”, has passed away at an undisclosed location on Saturday (May 1). The cause of death also hasn’t been released.

“All of us at ‘As the World Turns’ are deeply saddened by Helen’s passing,” executive producer Christopher Goutman said in a statement. “She is loved by generations of fans, and while we will miss her greatly Helen will always remain the heart and soul of ‘As the World Turns.”‘

The Soap Opera star entered the Guinness World Of Records for playing the same role for the longest amount of time, 54 years (from April 1956 to December 2009), in “As The World Turn”. R.I.P. Helen Wagner.

Former dermatologist’s assistant Jason Pfeiffer claims he maintained a ‘passionate and sexual’ gay relationship with King Of Pop Michael Jackson until he tragically passed away in June 2009 (photos and video below).

Jason and Michael met through skin care expert and Michael’s BFF, Dr. Arnold Klein, back in 2008 and quickly bonded over their troubled childhood. Dr. Klein supported Jason’s claims, revealing he once walked in on them and saw Michael shirtless.

Jason told Extra, “We were just sitting there and we both started to cry and I got up and went over to him and said it’s going to be OK Michael. We hugged. And it was kind of then that the hug was a little bit more. It wasn’t until a few months later that it was obvious that Michael had feelings for me as well.”

He added: “I just assumed that he was probably bisexual. I know we loved each other, I know he told me that all the time. I believe that he was probably my soulmate.”

Despite the gay rumors that have been around for years, perhaps decades, Michael vehemently denied his homosexuality and actually married two women, Lisa Marie Presley and Debbie Rowe, who is the mother of two of his children (Prince and Paris).

Dr. Klein said: “Setting the record straight and telling the truth, as opposed to hiding in some house in the middle of nowhere. I think he would have approved of that, yes.”

Ian Halperin, unofficial biographer, also claims to have talked with other two men who claimed to have a sexual relationship with the King.

Halperin said: “In the course of my investigations, I spoke to two of his gay lovers, one a Hollywood waiter, the other an aspiring actor. The waiter had remained friends, perhaps more, with the singer until his death. He had served Jackson at a restaurant, Jackson made his interest plain and the two slept together the following night. According to the waiter, Jackson fell in love.”

Dr. Klein confirmed to TMZ that Michael and Jason were in a relationship and that Jason was “the love of his life”, but does not believe that revealing Michael’s worst kept secret is betraying his trust. Dr. Klein says Michael was not ashamed of his sexuality and that his relationship with Jason was the only gay relationship he ever had.

Dr. Klein and Jason had received very serious and horrible death threats since their “story” became public. The FBI is currently investigating the threats and both Jason and Dr. Klein are being protected by bodyguards.

Actor Seth Green and his longtime girlfriend, model/actress Clare Grant tied the knot in a simple and private ceremony at a vineyard in Northern California on Saturday (May 1). The couple started dating a couple of years ago and Seth reportedly proposed to Clare on New Year’s Eve.

Seth and Clare work together on “Robot Chicken”, a show Seth is executive producer and co-creator while his wife does voice-overs. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
