Crystal Bowersox delivered an intense performance of Patty Griffin’s “Up To The Mountain” (watch video below). That was incredible, beautiful, emotional performance. Crystal is fantastic. We know it. But I did not like the song choice… if this is going to be her first single, I’m not going to buy it. Ellen DeGeneres said that Crystal is in a league of her own right now, while Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell described her performance as “incredible”, “amazing” and “outstanding”.

Lee Dewyze performed an iconic song by U2, “Beautiful Day” (watch video below). Lee was on the verge of tears, too nervous or absolutely terrified but he wasn’t able to have a moment for the Idol title. The song was upbeat and loud – it’s hard to have a moment! And then there’s Bono. It’s hard to outperform him. Simon Cowell declared that Idol was made for someone like Lee – a real nice guy with a boring job who needs a break. GO LEE!!

Crystal totally rocked it and her energy was fantastic. She sang it and made it her own. Kara DioGuardi was happy Crystal gave her all because that was the night to metaphorically “kill yourself on that stage”. Kara is so dramatic… Simon Cowell confessed that he is allergic to that song since he has heard too many people butchering it so many times, but he surprisingly admitted Crystal nailed it.

Lee Dewyze was forced to perform R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, which was chosen by Simon Fuller, and he delivered an amazing performance (watch video below). I loved it. There was no wow moment and the vocals were not perfect. Kara DioGuardi loves Lee for the simple reason he is the type of singer that is emotionally accessible. Simon Cowell praised Fuller’s song choice but expected more from Lee. Simon says he wants a “10 out of 10” in the next round.

Crystal Bowersox made a smart choice when she chose to reprise her Billboard #1 songs week with a performance of Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby McGee” (watch video below). That wasn’t perfect but very close… Crystal was fantastic! Kara DioGuardi loved it and Simon Cowell thought finally they have a competition. I think it’s fair to say Crystal won round 1. On the other hand, Crystal will be performing after Lee in the 3 rounds and I think that was a big disadvantage for him.

Lee Dewyze chose as his favorite performance of the season Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer”, a song from inspirational week (watch video below). Lee is incredibly talented but he was also extremely nervous and that affected his performance. This performance was still better than the first but the judges thought he lacked energy. Simon Cowell called it a “kiss on the cheek when I want a kiss on the lips!”

Who Won Dancing With The Stars 2010? The winner of DWTS will receive the Mirrorball trophy during the final results show on Tuesday (May 25). Last night (May 24), the final three couples danced two rounds, the redemption round and freestyle round, for the vote of the public at home. And tonight they will take over the dance floor for two final rounds for judges’ points.

The DWTS celebrities will return to the dance floor for unforgettable final performances. Bachelor Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will dance together (read more details here) and Kate Gosselin is expected to deliver the performance of her life (read more details here), while Pamela Anderson will set the dance floor on fire. Get ready!

The final three celebrities, Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek and Nicole Scherzinger, and their professional dance partners will return to the dance floor to perform an encore dance of their own favorite routine of the season. The three couples will dance the Argentine Tango. Then, one couple is eliminated and the FINAL TWO will have to go face-to-face on the dance off.

When we did our preview of Dancing With The Stars big finale yesterday (read DWTS Finale Preview here), we were sure Erin Andrews was out of the competition for the DWTS crown, but we are not so sure after her incredible performances last night (check videos below). Maybe we will be surprised with a Nicole vs. Erin instead of Nicole vs. Evan finale.

Can Erin Andrews pull upset victory on DWTS tonight? Absolutely. This is probably the most exciting Dancing With The Stars season finale with really strong celebrity dancers. Do not miss our live updates.

LIVE UPDATES (starting at 8/7c)

UPDATE: Here we go! Repeat of last night’s show (check out all the videos below the fold!). And now the live results show at 9/8c. The DWTS season 9 cast back on the dance floor. Chad Ochocinco could not perform since he got injured but he is in the audience.

UPDATE 2: The encore dances round starts with Nicole Scherzinger. Beautiful. The best performance of the three will get 30 points, the second 29 and the third 28. Nicole will be tough to beat. Evan Lysacek killed it with his perfect technique. I’m not really a fan but I have to admit Evan is good. Erin Andrews is the last to perform her Argentine Tango. They were all incredible.

UPDATE 3: This is not going to be easy! Nicole in 1st place gets 30 points! Evan in 2nd (29 points) and Erin in 3rd (28 points). Shannen Doherty, Buzz Aldrin and their professional dance partners return with an original dance. Oh, wait. Jake Pavelka performs with Chelsie Hightower and Vienna Girardi with another guy, not her fiancé!

UPDATE 4: Now the best fights of the season! #1 is Kate Gosselin slamming Tony Dovolani‘s teaching skills. It’s time. The couple in 3rd place after tonight’s performance will be eliminated right now. And in third place is Erin Andrews. Maksim gets emotional… aww! Erin says Maksim brought her back to life! SO romantic! Oh please! GET A ROOM!

UPDATE 5: Final 2: Nicole Scherzinger vs. Evan Lysacek! Kate Gosselin will most probably murder another Paso Doble. Oh yeah, Kate and Tony Dovolani are going to perform a Paso Doble to the sound of Lady Gaga‘s “Paparazzi“. Crash and burn! Kate rips off her dress to reveal a short skirt… hot… NOT!

UPDATE 6: Evan and Nicole get ready to the final dance. They want to go out in style! Pamela Anderson and Niecy Nash are also ready to bring SEXY back to the dance floor. They rocked it! Finally Nicole and Evan will dance off for the mirrorball trophy.

UPDATE 7: Nicole and Derek dance the Jive! Len Goodman declares Nicole should win Dancing With The Stars. She is the most incredible dancer. Go Nicole! Nicole gets a perfect score (30 = 10+10+10). And now the pressure is on Evan. Evan and Anna perform a Jive. That was good but not enough! Score: 28 (10+9+9). Who will win?

UPDATE 8: Nicole Scherzinger (115 points) vs. Evan Lysacek (108 points). And the winner is… Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough! Congratulations!

Tonight is the night for our Top 2 Idol contestants, who will have to sing for their lives and America’s vote on the final American Idol live show on Tuesday (May 25). The next Idol will be crowned on a very special live results show with incredible performers on Wednesday (May 26).

On Tuesday (May 25), Crystal and Lee will perform three songs: the winner’s song, producer’s pick and contestant’s choice. Will Young will take over the Idol stage to perform this season’s Idol boot anthem, “Leave Right Now” (watch video here). According to HollywoodLife, Joe Cocker will perform with our final two Idol contestants.

The Final Two posted the following messages on American Idol’s Facebook page:

Crystal Bowersox: This morning was rough. But like anything else in life you just keep on keeping on with love in your heart. I love you guys and I need all the support I can get, and not just votes. But those are good too! Thank you all for getting me this far and hopefully all the way! A million hugs for you.

Lee DeWyze: Well. This is it , this it what it all comes down to. I can’t thank you enough, for your love, support, and friendship. This has been amazing, and as I’ve performed and you’ve watched, and voted, i’ve realized how far I’ve come never been more worth it. Thank you. Love you guys, and I will give it my all. I can’t wait till tonight, I’ll see you there. With love…lee.

Both Crystal and Lee have a good chance of taking home the title. Crystal was the early favorite but she has failed to deliver a memorable performances (or have a moment!) during the last couple of weeks, while Lee keeps getting better and more confident on stage.

In recent interviews, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson made their predictions and both believe Lee Dewyze is the fair winner. Even Simon Cowell told Ellen DeGeneres Lee would win (read more details here). There was a big turn of events that we believe happened a few weeks ago when Lee performed “Hey Jude” (watch video here) because he has grown as an artist and has also become more popular each week.

On Wednesday (May 26), the American Idol Top 12 will return to the Idol stage for a special performance. Also confirmed to be performing are American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen, who we expect to say a few words of wisdom to our top 2, Enrique Iglesias, Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilera.

This will also be the final show for judge Simon Cowell and there will be some sort of surprise farewell video. Former Idol judge Paula Abdul is also expected to appear on the show somehow, probably for Simon’s farewell. And the biggest surprise of the night will be a performance of “Pants On The Ground” by Idol’s General Larry Platt (watch video here).

Sandra Bullock’s soon-to-be ex-husband Jesse James talks for the first time about his affair, nazi photos and the baby he would have adopted with his wife, baby Louis Bardo Bullock (first baby photos), in an exclusive interview for “Nightline” (watch video below).

Jesse actually seems to regret what he did and you can feel he is absolutely devastated by the consequences of his actions now. He is deeply hurt and I’m not trying to absolve him of any of his sins, but he is honestly broken. This is really sad. As Jesse said, he had everything in the world to be happy and he threw it all away.

The West Coast Choppers CEO admitted that he lied to Sandra, his kids, everyone including himself and claims that what hurt him the most was being portrayed as a Nazi lover. Jesse says he doesn’t even remember taking the infamous Nazi photos (photos/video here).

“I don’t even remember taking the photo,” he claimed. “But I can tell by the look of my face that it was a joke. That was funny then, for like a minute. Looking at it in the context of my life now, it’s not funny.”

Jesse is not a Nazi. I think somehow Jesse will become a little less hated after this interview. Jesse is not delivering a scripted and rehearsed apology like Tiger Woods did. Jesse is showing real regret and emotions, which won’t be enough to save his marriage but hopefully enough to be at peace with himself.

Former country singer Mindy McCready has denied the rumors she possibly suffered a drug overdose after her mother overreacted and called 911 because the singer wasn’t feeling well.

Mindy’s rep tells TMZ, she broke her toe a couple of days ago and has been in pain. Her mother gave her four Darvocet pills, a narcotic painkiller, this morning and Mindy possibly had a bad reaction to the Darvocet. Really? Four pills seem way too many even for someone in agonizing pain.

Mindy is “totally coherent. She can’t believe her mom did this.” Mindy and her mom are currently in a custody battle for Mindy’s son and the singer’s rep even suggested her mom’s overreaction could have been a way to make her custody argument stronger. Seriously? I believe the woman was scared for her daughter’s life.

Mindy guarantees she is clean and actually wants to call Dr. Drew to tell him she is A-OK. Dr. Drew Pinsky confirmed that he spoke to Mindy over the last few days and there’s no evidence of a relapse.
