“Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen has reportedly decided to plead no contest to a misdemeanor assault, the felony menacing charge will be dismissed and he will have to serve 30 days in jail. These 30 days can go down to 17 for good behavior.

According to TMZ, Charlie decided to opt for the jail time instead of probation because it was too risky. If Charlie slipped he would be sent to jail for much longer than 30 days. Charlie also has to complete 36 hours of anger management before the court hearing.

The actor is expected to enter a no contest plea and immediately begin serving time on Monday (June 7). After Charlie serves his time, he will be a totally free man.
