Gary Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price made the 911 call when she found her husband on the ground covered in blood after she had asked him to go downstairs to get her some food (read more details here).

The 911 call and transcript have been released (listen to audio below). Shannon actually told the dispatcher she could not handle seeing all that blood and she couldn’t help Gary. She was sick and didn’t want to be traumatized while her husband (or ex-husband!) was losing a tremendous amount of blood.

“He just got home, I heard this big bang, I went downstairs. Blood everywhere. I don’t know if he’s okay. I’m not down there right now because I have a fever, if I get stressed out I’m going to faint,” she told the operator.
“He fell. His head is bloody. There’s blood all over the floor. I don’t know what happened,” Price continued.
“Is there any way you can go down there at all?” the operator asked. “I’ll try, I don’t know, I mean…” she said.
“I’ve just been kind of sick. I don’t want to be traumatized right now,” the 24-year-old added.
She then called out to Coleman. “Gary, are you okay? … Stay where you are.”
With instructions from the 911 operator, Price told Gary to apply pressure. “Gary, you have to put pressure on your wound.”

“He’s lethargic, I can’t really help him. I just need help quick,” she went on. “I just can’t be here with the blood. I’m sorry, I can’t do it. I can’t. … There’s blood all over and I can’t do anything.”
“Yeah, I’m just panicked. I don’t know what to do … I just don’t want him to die. I’m freaking out,” Shannon cried on the phone when told to give the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star a towel.
She finally acquiesces. “You have to put this on your head … Keep pressure on this, okay, hold this. You need to sit down. Sit down! Gary, sit down!”
Right before the ambulance arrived, Price said, “I’m gagging, I got blood on myself, I can’t deal.”

Shannon basically refused to help Gary and continued to order the actor to keep pressure on his wound when he was barely aware of what exactly was happening to him. This is really sad. When you truly love and care for someone, you just forget about your needs and desperately try to help. You do not stop to think you will be traumatized…

I can not believe she couldnt go down and help him. She didnt want to go down stairs to to give him a towel and states if she can find one, she didnt want to open the door for the emergency crew and in all of this mess she says she has her dog with her. Shes the one that wanted the food. What a tragedy. In the beginning she stumbles over her words of how she found him and than changes her story and says she heard a crash. She is more worried about herself than keeping him alive. This woman should go to jail and be charged with some kind of homicide Unbelieveable Behind her words she kept saying You know You know I dont care how shaken up you are you help a person in need like this poor guy never even had a chance. RIP Gary
Shannon Price cant explain how Gary Coleman incurred a head wound so severe it killed him. the velocity and force needed to cause that much blood loss and a head wound that massive would NEVER come from falling EVEN if he fell from upstairs. this type of wound could only come from being hit with an object.

Oh My G*D!! If people believe she had nothing to do with this, they are stupid. It is clear there is something seriously wrong with her and she is not telling the whole truth. She did absolutely nothing to help him and then says, “Gary, what’s wrong?” Did you hear the excitement in her voice when she said her name? She definitely has the charasteristics of a sociopath. She will get caught up in her lies as her narcissistic butt continues to seek her 15 minutes of fame.
Shannon is no good, she is a rat, how can someone fall like that, their is definitely some foul play,I do not know anyone, that would not go down and help someone who has injured them selves as she proclaims.
Shannon will pay the price sooner or later, she will live up to it one day, that she did it.Shannon and Dr Murray make a good pair, they both lie real well.

I have been very suspicious from the very beginning when I heardabout Gary’s death. I said to my friends Gary didn’t fall by himself, he was pushed or something. After hearing the 911 call, I knew who pushed him.
We’ve heard of stories where total strangers would go all out to help persons in need but in Gary’s case his so called ex-wife will not help!!! This case needs immediate investigation. Someone is guilty!!!
