WWDC 2010 Apple Announcement: iPhone 4 (PHOTOS)
Steve Jobs just announced the release of a brand new iPhone named iPhone 4 and described as the “thinnest smartphone on the planet” (three-eighths of an inch thick!) during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday (June 7).
Here is what you need to know about the new iPhone 4:
Available in either black or white, the iPhone 4 will come in two versions: a 16GB model for $199, and a 32GB model for $299. The iPhone 3GS will be reduced in price to just $99. AT&T subscribers whose contract expires any time in 2010 will be able to upgrade to iPhone 4. Preoders for iPhone 4 begin June 15th. The phone will go on sale June 24th. iPhone 4 will initially be available in 5 countries (US, France, Germany, UK, Japan) and 18 more in July.
And Steve will successfully make us buy a brand new gadget that does all these crazy things we don’t really need and don’t even use for fashion’s sake. iPhone is too fat! Buy the anorectic iPhone 4. Check out the first pictures of skinny new iPhone below the fold.
