VIDEO: Baby GaGa Keira Ladrow Spoof Controversy
3 year-old Keira Ladrow aka Baby GaGa has become a major YouTube star after a video of her reenactment of Lady GaGa’s controversial “Telephone” went viral. The video is just as cute as it is controversial – Keira wears heavy makeup, handcuffs and dances provocatively in the video.
Lady GaGa’s Shocking ‘Telephone’ Video with Beyonce
Last month, a group of scantily-clad 7 year-olds shocked us with a racy performance of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” (watch video here). Are our kids growing up too fast? Some YouTube users even accused these parents of exploiting their child, calling it sick and disturbing.
Keira’s mother, Heidi Ladrow was a guest on “The Early Show” on Tuesday (June 8), where she defended the video, claiming her daughter loved filming it (watch video below). Is that a good excuse for exposing a child?
Heidi said, “She’s three. She is very energetic, she’s very playful, and she’s outgoing. And Jake, the director here, he has known her since she was 6 months old, so she was very comfortable with him. And being in the industry, he decided let’s do a video, a spoof of Lady Gaga. So it was perfect because she’s so animated. And she’s a good little dancer, so it just seemed like a good fit.”
Is Baby GaGa inappropriate, unacceptable or just pure fun? Would you expose your child like this? Tell us what you think about the Baby GaGa controversy in the comment section below.
