Larry King’s Wife Shawn Southwick Suicide Attempt
Larry King’s wife Shawn Southwick-King allegedly tried to commit suicide when she overdosed on pills late last month (full details here) based on two handwritten notes stating she OD’d on purpose and indicating where she wanted to be buried.

Shawn was found in bet at her Provo, Utah, home by her father Karl Engemann, who promptly called 911 and remained calm while trying to help his unresponsive daughter on May 28. Karl told the dispatcher his daughter was not suicidal.
Emergency workers found empty prescription bottles (including Ambien and anti-anxiety meds) and two handwriting notes that suggest Shawn did indeed try to commit suicide. Larry and Shawn, who have two sons together, filed for divorce and quickly reconciled a couple of months ago, but their relationship is very complicated.
