Millions of people have been attempting to pre-order the new iPhone 4 today through the Apple.com and ATT.com websites without any luck. I even attempted for nearly an hour to get through the Apple website to upgrade to the new iPhone version myself.

Apple should have borrowed the ‘Fail Whale’ from micro-blogging site Twitter for their own site this morning. Pre-orders for the new iPhone began today (June 15, 2010) for delivery or pickup on June 24th.

Many frustrated Apple and AT&T customers took to Twitter to voice their frustrations on being unable to order the latest and greatest gadget from Apple.

Even the new Apple iPhone App advertises that it is the quickest and easiest way to get the new iPhone: #FAIL – don’t believe it, not true!!

You would think that Apple of all people would have enough servers could handle the demand on pre-order day.
