Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin and her baby daddy Levi Johnston are reportedly trying to make it work for the sake of little Tripp Johnston. Bristol and Levi’s relationship was basically being controlled by momma Palin when they finally broke off their engagement more than one year ago, back in March 2009.

The two even got involved in a custody battle for child support. Levi was accused of being a deadbeat dad. Bristol is now on her own and actually enjoying the chance to spend more time alone with Levi. They have reportedly rekindled.

“Bristol and Levi are still very close,” a source close to Bristol, 19, tells Us. “Now that Mama Palin is out of the picture and Bristol is on her own in Anchorage, they spend more time together than most people think. Levi even stays overnight. I even think they are back together.”

Everybody knows Sarah does not like Levi. And she probably has every reason not to like him, but Levi is still the father of her grandchild and they should be more respectful to each other. Bristol recently vowed to not have sex (more sex than she already had!) before marriage. So if Levi wants a piece of his baby mama, he better put a ring on it fast!
