Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson came to the defense of his co-star/girlfriend Kristen Stewart after she came under fire for comparing being chased by paparazzi to being raped. Kristen already issued an apology for her completely absurd comments, but Robert wants to blame bloggers instead.

“None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first,” Pattinson snipes to Entertainment Weekly.

“That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.”

So bloggers are nerds behind computers, Rob? I think bloggers are people with ideas, comments and critics to share. If you don’t like it, don’t read it! But you can’t blame anyone else for whatever comes out of Kristen’s mouth or for expressing opinions. Rob has been a bad boy! Rob deserves a spanking!
