Amy Locane Charged In Drunk Driving Death Case (Mugshot)
“Melrose Place” star Amy Locane, who played Sandy in the show and starred alongside Johnny Depp in “Cry Baby”, was responsible for a deathly car crash in Montgomery, New Jersey on Sunday night (June 27).
Amy plowed into the passenger side of another car, killing the woman sitting in the front seat. The driver was immediately flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, while Amy, who was clearly drunk, was arrested on the scene for DUI and taken to a different hospital for treatment.
The 38 year-old actress, who was also involved in a minor hit-and-run incident right before the crash, confessed she had drunk several glasses of wine. Amy was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and third-degree assault by auto. She faces 5 to 10 years in prison.
