Jennifer Capriati Hospitalized For Drug Overdose

Former tennis star Jennifer Capriati possibly overdosed in a hotel in Riviera Beach, Florida and was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital on Sunday morning (June 27). Jennifer’s father, Stefano Capriati, told TMZ that his 34 year-old daughter is recovering well.

The former tennis teen sensation became a professional player a few weeks before her 14th birthday. Jennifer won 14 titles, including three Grand Slams in her career. She was also the Olympic champion in 1992.

Jennifer’s last game was in 2004, but she hasn’t officially retired because she hadn’t given up hope of returning to court after the age of 30. Jennifer admitted to suffering from depression and having suicidal thought in an interview back in 2007.
