Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has one additional toe on her left foot, which was first revealed when she wore flip flops to attend the Howard U. graduation ceremony in Washington back in 2007. According to the latest internet rumors, Oprah may have felt the need to finally remove her sixth toe.
This is a congenital physical anomaly also known as polydactyly or polydactylism. An extra toe isn’t as aesthetically awkward as an extra finger. We do not understand why Oprah would chose to have it remove now. It’s part of her personality!

“The Biggest Loser” trainer Jillian Michaels, who now has her own weight loss reality show (“Losing It With Jillian Michaels”), has finally confessed that her life as an overweight teenager was pure hell in an exclusive interview featured in the latest issue of Redbook Magazine (July 2010).
Jillian went through a very difficult stage in high school when she was 175 pounds and her life was absolutely miserable. The 36 year-old personal trainer revealed that karate saved her life and her body. And to prove she is, in fact, now very comfortable in her own skin and at peace with her past, Jillian showed one of her “fat teen” high school pictures (pictures below).
Here are some highlights of Jillian Michaels’ Redbook interview:
On people’s biggest misconception about her: “That I’m a bitch. I really don’t have a mean bone in my body! Do you know how easy it would be to tell people what they want to hear? It would be heaven! But, unfortunately, it doesn’t get the job done.”
On her weight struggles as a teen: “Oh, my God, it was pure hell. I spent all of eighth grade in my classroom because God forbid I ever left. I was terrorized. And karate saved my life. It all stopped the day I broke two boards with a kick.”
On being in therapy at age 5: “I was a really disturbed kid. You know how kids have night terrors? Mine were really bad. I thought sharks were coming out of the drain in the bathtub. I couldn’t sleep at night, every night, waiting for aliens to come. I’m not kidding you: I. Was. Traumatized. And mom got me into therapy.”
On how families react in her new show: “I think they presume it’s a fitness show. And the next thing you know, I’m in your marriage, I’m going to school with your kids. I’m, like, in the middle of everything, and it’s just like, “What the hell, what’s happening?” I’m lying with one eye open in the middle of the night, waiting for the mom to come in and put a knife through my heart. It’s brutal. It is brutal.”

The bride wore a dazzling ivory silk, short-sleeved, off-the-shoulder gown, designed by Par Engsheden. Victoria’s husband is now known as Prince Daniel, Duke of Vastergotland. The celebrations for the biggest royal wedding since Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer will last for days in Sweden.

Actress Amanda Bynes officially announced the death of her acting career at the tender age of 24 via her Twitter account on Saturday (June 19). Amanda claims she stopped loving what she does, so she decided to stop doing it.
Amanda tweeted, “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”
“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired,” she added.
Amanda must be really desperate to make such a drastic decision so soon. Three years after “Hairspray”, Amanda finally has a new movie out, “Easy A” starring Emma Stone (watch movie trailer here), which is also her last movie at least as an actress.

Ohio State recruit Jamel Turner was reportedly shot multiple times in Youngtown, Ohio on Saturday (June 19) and is currently in a critical condition at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital. A 17 year-old girl named Tracy Banks, who also suffered multiple gunshot wounds, did not survive the incident.
Ohio State coach Jim Tressel issued a statement, saying, “I’m so sad to hear of Jamel’s misfortune. I have not communicated with Jamel, but am certainly praying for him at this time.”
The details of what exactly happened aren’t clear. But the authorities believe Tracy’s boyfriend, a man named Melvin Shaw is the shooter. Jamel had a very tough upbringing and he had also been victim of another drive-by shooting back in April.
We wish Turner a quick and full recovery. R.I.P. Tracy Banks.
