Tennesse Titans quarterback Vince Young decided to officially apologize to his teammates after he got involved in a strip club bawl on Sunday (June 13). Vince also took the opportunity to pray to God that NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, doesn’t come down hard on him. Seriously.

After practice today, Vince said, “I just made a mistake, I made a mistake even being there and I let that guy provoke me into doing what I did … I pray to God that Roger Goodell doesn’t come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates.”

Titans coach Jeff Bridges said, “I’m disappointed. He’s taken responsibility for it. I like to think he’s learned a lesson. He had no business making the decision that he made and obviously he’s got to deal with those consequences. The league will look into it. The commissioner is very strict about these types of things and I am sure we’ll hear from him after we get more information.”

Yeah, Vince has taken responsibility for his actions. He was cited for misdemeanor assault. That’s what happened. But he does not sound remorseful at all. Vince punched the a 45 year-old club employee named Creiton Kinchen after he flashed the NFL star a “hook ‘em horns” sign.

American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert released the music video for his new single “If I Had You”, out of his debut album “For Your Entertainment”, on Monday (June 14)- watch video below. The video is already causing some controversy, but Adam claims he wants to deliver a message of love not hate.

“Basically, what it’s saying is no matter what color your skin is, no matter what religion you are, no matter what your sexuality is … we can all party together,” Adam said. “And all this other stuff — money, success, fortune, fashion, glam — it’s all great, but it doesn’t mean anything if you’re not connecting.”

John Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston, who confirmed she was pregnant at the age of 47 last month, debuted her baby bump during the couple’s visit to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund in South Africa on Saturday (June 12)- more baby bump pictures below.

The couple and their 10 year-old daughter Ella Blue spent some time with the children and donated 70,000 rand (about $10,000) to the charity. Kelly is glowing – she looks great and very pregnant in a beautiful way. Congrats to the Travoltas!

North Carolina’s Democratic Rep. Bob Etheridge completely lost it when he was approached by a pair of “students”, who asked him if he “fully supports the Obama agenda” (watch video above).

Etheridge is clearly paranoid. He grabs one of the students’ wrists and appears to slam the camera with his hand, while asking, “Who are you? Who are you? I have the right to know who you are.” The two people only identify themselves as students working for a project.

“Bob Etheridge has lost it,” National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Jon Thompson said in a statement. “His conduct is unbecoming of a member of Congress. It’s bad enough that he’s joined Obama’s assault on North Carolina jobs, but his physical assault on a college student goes beyond the pale.”

The video was posted by “DCCameraGuy” on YouTube and these two people have not been identified, but nothing justifies Etheridge’s insane behavior. He could have just ignored them, but what he did is beyond reasonable.

Former VP/Nobel Peace Prize Al Gore and his wife Tipper Gore (Mary Elizabeth “Tipper” Aitcheson) recently announced they were amicably separating after forty years of marriage. Apparently Tipper suspected her husband had multiple affairs and confronted him several times while they were married. Al finally decided to leave Tipper because of her lack of trust and jealous rages.

A source says, “Tipper knew that Al had a daily massage, and she was always jealous of the therapists… he mostly had female masseuses, but Tipper became so vocal about the women that Al switched to male therapists to keep the peace.”

The Hollywood actress’ name with whom Al reportedly had an affair with remains unknown. And the last girl was a gorgeous 23 year-old Tennessee Titans cheerleader. Not one of these affairs has ever been confirmed and no women have come forward to tell their story.

Is this story a complete fabrication or Al’s own inconvenient truth? Al and Tipper’s eldest daughter, Karenna Gore, is also separating from her husband of twelve years, Andrew Schiff (more details here).
