Beautiful Carrie Underwood was the big winner of the night with two awards for ‘Performance of the Year’ (“Temporary Home”) and ‘Video of the Year’ (“Cowboy Casanova”).

The USC Trojans football team has finally heard from the NCAA after many months of investigation, by the governing police of college athletics, regarding improper benefits given to RB Reggie Bush and his family by a booster, before and while he was a member of the team.

The Trojans football team will be stripped of over 20 football scholarships and be banned from post-season play for 2 years according to Sportscasm.

This doesn’t even include the sanctions coming down on the Trojans basketball team that violated multiple rules when former Trojans head coach Tim Floyd allegedly paid money for highly touted, and former Memphis Grizzlies star, O.J. Mayo to come play at Southern Cal.

The Trojans football team is currently coached by Lane Kiffin.  The violations occurred while Kiffen was an assistant coach at USC under head coach Pete Carroll.

The Globe Magazine has posted shocking pictures of Gary Coleman’s deathbed less than an hour before he was taken off life support (shocking graphic photos here), which were reportedly taken by Shannon Price in a desperate attempt to take monetary advantage of the tragic situation.

The Utah hospital has released a statement rejecting any involvement in incident. Gary’s former agent, Victor Perillo, also spoke on behalf of Gary’s family to condemn the tabloid and whoever sold the controversial photos.

Coleman’s former agent Victor Perillo told ET, “While Gary Coleman’s family continues to privately grieve the passing of their son, they would like to thank all of his fans for their generous support. This kind gentle soul left the world with many beautiful memories to cherish. That is why I am personally appalled to hear the news that individuals are selling photos of Gary in the hospital. This is unconscionable and despicable. I would like to praise all the reputable news organizations that declined the offers. I hope others will do the same out of respect and human decency.”

A spokesperson for the Utah hospital states, “In accordance with federal privacy guidelines, no pictures are taken by hospital staff of any patient without patient or family permission. Utah Valley Regional Medical Center staff was not involved in taking any photos of Mr. Coleman.”

The song makes the quickest sprint to the summit by a Capitol single since Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” likewise reached the top spot in four weeks on the chart dated Aug. 26, 1967. Five months before Gentry, the Beatles’ “Penny Lane” had also zipped to No. 1 in four frames.

Perry’s song features a guest camo by rapper Snoop Dogg.  She has performed the song at a couple of award shows since its release.

Olympic hurdler Lori “Lolo” Jones posed completely naked for a tasteful photo shoot featured in the ESPN’s infamous “The Body Issue”, which had Serena Williams nude on the cover (more pictures below).

The 27 year-old confessed she struggled with moral beliefs before making the decision to bare all for the magazine. Lolo said, “Pose naked? No way. I’m a very strong Christian. That’s against my morals. I wasn’t comfortable. Posing naked — I don’t even like being naked at the doctor’s office.”

Lolo, who specializes in the 60 and 100 meter hurdles, won three NCAA titles, eleven all-American LSU honors and won indoor national titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in the 60 m hurdles, with gold medals at the World Indoor Championship in 2008 and 2010.

She was favored to win the 100 m hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but she tripped on the penultimate hurdle, finishing in seventh place. She went on to win silver at the 2008 World Athletics Final. Her 60 m hurdles best is the fastest American time. (via Wikipedia).
