Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was arrested early this morning for possession of 2 0z. of marijuana in his hometown of Plano, Texas.
The bust went down while Crawford and a buddy were chilling in a ’03 Nissan outside of Ringo’s Pub.
Nevertheless, Crawford managed to spring himself just after 1 a.m.
Expect a court hearing and congratulatory slap on the wrist for Crawford in the next couple of months.

Legendary UCLA/Bruins coach John Wooden has been hospitalized and is currently in grave condition at UCLA Medical Center. The 99 year-old is very ill and hasn’t eaten for a couple of days. Unfortunately, it seems like the end is near for a man who did so much for basketball and sports in general.
Wooden coached at UCLA from 1948 to 1975 where he won 10 National Championships. Wooden coached the Bruins to an unprecedented 10 NCAA championships in his final 12 seasons, including a record seven in a row from 1967 to 1973.
The Bruins won 88 consecutive games from 1971 to 1974 and 38 consecutive NCAA tournament games from 1964 to 1974, both records.
Wooden was named the greatest coach of the 20th century by ESPN and he was the first to be selected for the Basketball Hall Of Fame as both a player and coach.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wooden and his family.

“Golden Girls” star Rue McClanahan’s son Mark Bish flew from Austin, Texas to be with his mother and he was the one who had to make the difficult decision to turn off life support, according to the actress’ sixth husband Morrow Wilson. Rue and Morrow separated last year after 12 years of marriage.

“But in truth, there really was no choice,” Morrow tells Life & Style. “She died at 1:05 a.m. today. She had a living will saying if she were brain dead, they should pull the plug, but the hospital waited for her son Mark to fly in and make the final decision.”

The 76 year-old, who played Blanche Devereaux, had been suffering from several health issues since last November, when she found out she needed triple-bypass heart surgery before a minor knee operation.
A week after the surgery, she suffered a stroke. “The people in her life now say it was minor, but that stroke was massive,” Morrow adds. “But she got out of the hospital and went home. She was having around-the-clock nursing care, with speech therapy and occupational therapy. We all thought she was on the road to a full recovery.”
Rue apparently suffered a massive brain aneurysm in her NYC apartment and was immediately rushed to the New York Presbyterian Hospital on Monday (May 31). Morrow also revealed that Rue specifically said she did not want a funeral service.
