Joran Van der Sloot was finally arrested in Chile after allegedly brutally killing a 21 year-old Peruvian woman named Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was the daughter of businessman and race-car driver Ricardo Flores. Stephany’s body was found in a hotel room registered under the suspect’s name in Lima, Peru on Wednesday (June 2).

The 22 year-old Dutch playboy was reportedly arrested while in a taxi on his way to Vina del Mar, a coastal city in Chile. He will be extradited to Peru, where he will face first degree murder charges for the slaying of young girl (read more details here).

Joran had also been arrested, released and confessed to the disposal of the body of the missing American student, Natalee Holloway, exactly five years ago. So his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, claims Joran is just an easy target.

“He’s a popular suspect, he’s someone who people believe – people have very strong opinions about this – that he got away with murder, literally, in Aruba which, the evidence says otherwise, the judges have said otherwise,” said Tacopina. “But he’s someone who is easy to point the finger at, he wears a bulls-eye on his back.”

Shannon actually told the dispatcher she could not handle seeing all that blood and she couldn’t help Gary.  She was sick and didn’t want to be traumatized while her husband (or ex-husband!) was losing a tremendous amount of blood.

“He just got home, I heard this big bang, I went downstairs. Blood everywhere. I don’t know if he’s okay. I’m not down there right now because I have a fever, if I get stressed out I’m going to faint,” she told the operator.

“Is there any way you can go down there at all?” the operator asked. “I’ll try, I don’t know, I mean…” she said.

“I’ve just been kind of sick. I don’t want to be traumatized right now,” the 24-year-old added.

She then called out to Coleman. “Gary, are you okay? … Stay where you are.”

With instructions from the 911 operator, Price told Gary to apply pressure. “Gary, you have to put pressure on your wound.”

“Yeah, I’m just panicked. I don’t know what to do … I just don’t want him to die. I’m freaking out,” Shannon cried on the phone when told to give the ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ star a towel.

She finally acquiesces. “You have to put this on your head … Keep pressure on this, okay, hold this. You need to sit down. Sit down! Gary, sit down!”

Right before the ambulance arrived, Price said, “I’m gagging, I got blood on myself, I can’t deal.”

Famed actress Rue McClanahan, who played Blanche Deveraux (she was the horny one) on the Golden Girls, has passed away at the age of 76 from a stroke.  Her health had been fragile since suffering a minor stroke earlier this year.

She passed away at 1am this morning according to her spokeswoman Barbara Lawrence.

Rue was also a 13-year survivor of breast cancer.

Her death is saddening to the millions of Golden Girls fans who fell in love with Rue, Betty White, Bea Arthur, and Estelle Getty during the shows successful run from 1985-1992 and in syndication.

McClanahan was also famous for her roles on Mama’s Family and Maude.

It appears that former NBA tough-man Charles Oakley got a bit roughed up last night in Las Vegas.  Oakley, Michael Jordan’s BFF, is often in Vegas…enjoying the ‘sights’ and must have apparently had a bit too much to drink or got pissed at the wrong person (for once).

Security at the Aria Hotel & Casino jumped Oakley twice breaking his arm in the process.  Other tweeted photos show Oakley in a neck harness on a hospital bed and passed out in his hotel suite.

Actress/comedienne Fran Drescher has revealed that her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson is gay (more pictures below). Fran and Peter met in high school to tie the knot in 1978 when she was only 21 years old.

They were married for 21 long years and Marc finally decided to come out the closet after they split in 1999, revealing they had even more in common than two decades of marital bliss – they both like men. Shocking! Peter and our dear “Nanny” continue to be really good friends.

“Peter and I met when we were 15,” Fran tells In Touch. “We were just kids and didn’t know who we truly were. We went through a lot together.”

“We are still the best of friends. We love each other dearly,” she says. “We have even fixed each other up! I more successfully than him, by the way.”

“Peter and I feel so blessed to have met each other and to still have a caring, loving relationship,” Fran says. “Love is what we’re all about.”

The two have supported each other through the years. Fran is also an avid defender of gay rights. They are now working together to create a new sitcom based on their relationship. That should be hilarious. And this revelation is great publicity for the show.

MLB star Ken Griffey Jr. has announced his retirement at the age of 40 after 22 glorious seasons on Wednesday (June 2). Ken started playing professionally in the Seattle Mariners back in 1989 and returned to the team for the conclusion of his career.

Ken said in a statement, “While I feel I am still able to make a contribution on the field and nobody in the Mariners front office has asked me to retire, I told the Mariners when I met with them prior to the 2009 season and was invited back that I will never allow myself to become a distraction. I feel that without enough occasional starts to be sharper coming off the bench, my continued presence as a player would be an unfair distraction to my teammates and their success as a team is what the ultimate goal should be.”

Mariners CEO Howard Lincoln said, “It’s a sad day for the Mariners, our fans, for all the people in the community that have loved Ken, admired him as a tremendous baseball player and a great human being. It’s always tough for great superstars like Ken or anyone else to make a decision to retire. This has been his life for so many years, but he has made his decision and will support it. We will honor him in every way possible.”

Sexy Puerto Rican Debrahlee Lorenzana claims she was fired from her job at Chrysler Building branch of Citigroup because of her sexy curvy-licious body, which turned out to be a big distraction for her male colleagues (more photos below).

Debrahlee was warned her wardrobe choices were too sexy, but she says she was not punished for her revealing wardrobe but she was discriminated for her incredibly feminine sensual body. I know. Natural beauty is a curse!

“They said their body shapes were different from mine, and I drew too much attention,” she says.

As Lorenzana’s lawsuit puts it, her bosses told her that “as a result of the shape of her figure, such clothes were purportedly ‘too distracting’ for her male colleagues and supervisors to bear.”
Other female employees “were able to wear such clothing because they were short, overweight, and they didn’t draw much attention,” she later wrote in a letter describing the meeting to Human Resources, “but since I was five-foot-six, 125 pounds, with a figure, it wasn’t ‘appropriate.’ ” She was also furious. “Are you saying that just because I look this way genetically, that this should be a curse for me?”"

“It’s so tiring,” Lorenzana tells the Voice. “My entire life, I’ve been dealing with this. I couldn’t take it anymore!”

Debrahlee’s attorney, Jack Tuckner, who calls himself a “sex-positive” women’s-rights lawyer, admits that his client is “a babe” but claims men have to know how to control themselves around beautiful women.

“It’s like saying,” Tuckner argues, “that we can’t think anymore ’cause our penises are standing up—and we cannot think about you except in a sexual manner—and we can’t look at you without wanting to have sexual intercourse with you. And it’s up to you, gorgeous woman, to lessen your appeal so that we can focus!”

The 33 year-old posed in several work outfits in her lawyer’s office for a professional photographer. The photos will be included in the lawsuit. Seriously. The case will be decided by an arbitrator instead of a jury or judge because Debrahlee signed a mandatory-arbitration clause as a condition of her employment.

Actor Gary Coleman tragically passed away a couple of days after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage as a result of a fall at his home in Utah. According to the police report, when officer K Johnson arrived he was met by Gary’s “wife”, Shannon Price, at the front door and she gave him directions to her husband but didn’t accompany him because she did not want to see the blood on the floor.

Gary was sitting on the floor with a towel on the back of his head. The 42 year-old actually walked with assistance to the ambulance that transported him to the hospital. What happened to Gary? How did he fall?

It is a private medical document which the hospital does not have permission to release. However, we received permission to confirm that the document was in effect at the time of Mr. Coleman’s death.”

“The Real Housewives Of New York” star Sonja Morgan was arrested for allegedly driving while drunk after blowing past a stop sign in South Hampton early on Monday (May 31). The 46 year-old failed several sobriety tests and refused to take a Breathalyzer test before being taken into custody.

Sonja pled not guilty to DWI and various traffic violations, including driving without a seatbelt, failure to keep right and failure to stop at a stop sign. The housewife will be back in court on Monday (June 21).
