Singer/actress Janet Jackson graces the cover of the upcoming August 2010 issue of Essence Magazine. At the age of 44, Janet looks absolutely gorgeous, flawless and she feels more confident than ever.

Janet says, “It took me a good minute to get here, it really did. But I love my life. I only wish I had this confidence when I was younger.”

Despite the tragic death of her brother Michael Jackson one year ago, Janet has plenty of reasons to share that beautiful smile with the world – a successful acting and singing career!

Janet, who starred in “Why Did I Get Married Too?”, had the chance to work with Tyler Perry in his new movie titled “For Colored Girls” and still managed to have some time to direct her own romantic flick. She will be performing at ESSENCE Music Festival in New Orleans this Fourth of July weekend.
