Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem, who is engaged to Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz, is set to guest star as a rock star who befriends Artie (Kevin McHale) in the upcoming second season of FOX’s popular musical/comedy/drama series, “Glee”. Javier is a Gleek!

“We’re going to rock the house,” enthuses Bardem, who became an unabashed Gleek after watching the entire first season in one week. “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”

Javier loves “Glee”. Seriously! He is officially a Gleek! And he came up with the idea for his guest-starring role while working with Glee’s boss, Ryan Murphy, on the movie “Eat Pray Love”. The world is coming to an end! Good luck, Javier!!
