Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her fiancé Ed Swiderski have decided to call it quits for now – to take a break to try to salvage their relationship. Jillian wants to temporary return to the safety of her parents’ home in Kelowna, B.C., Canada.

“It’s not really a ’split’ though. . . We have just been having a tough time, and I needed to go back home [Canada],” Jillian told OK! exclusively.

The former Bachelorette star is reportedly still planning to eventually move to San Francisco with Ed. They are trying to overcome a rough patch in their relationship and they are both working on improving.

“Ed and Jillian hit a rough patch, so she thought quitting drinking was a good move. [A] healthy lifestyle and focusing on things that make her happy,” a source close to Jillian and Ed tells OK!.

The Bachelorette dramatically wants to change in order to achieve a healthier lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean there’s something in the oven. Jillian guarantees, “I am definitely not preggers!”
