Shamicka Gibbs & Martin Lawrence Finally Married (Photos)
Actor Martin Lawrence and his longtime partner Shamicka Gibbs finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at his Beverly Hills home on Saturday (July 10). The lovebirds exchanged vows in the backyard in front of more than one hundred guest, including A-listers like Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington.
Shamicka and Martin’s two daughters, Lyana (9) and Ameria (7), and his daughter Jasmine (14) from a previous marriage were the flower girls. The couple wanted a very intimate and family oriented ceremony.
The wedding reception was held under a tent with two long tables forming the shape of an “X” for all the guests to sit together. The wedding dinner catered by Tres LA included salad, crab cake and salmon. The four-tiered wedding cake was designed by Beverly Hills’ Rosebud Cakes.
