Lorenzen Wright Is Dead: Former Memphis Tigers’ Star Body Found

Former Memphis Tigers player Lorenzen Wright’s body was finally found in a wooded area near Hacks Cross and Winchester in southeast Memphis on Wednesday (July 28).

Lorenzen was missing since July 19, when a 911 call, in which the dispatcher heard several gunshot blasts in the background, was made from his cell phone. The authorities did not suspect foul play in his disappearance, but they are now currently investigating the 911 hang-up call.

Lorenzen was last seen leaving his ex-wife, Sherra Robinson Wright’s Whisperwood Drive home at around 2 am to drive back to Atlanta. The ex-wife did not know who he left with or the type of car they were in. According to Sportscasm, the 34 year-old former NBA star, who had six children, was found shot at least a dozen times.
