Melissa Rycroft Strickland Is Pregnant
Former Bachelor contestant/Bachelor Pad co-host Melissa Rycroft and her husband Tye Strickland announced they are expecting their first child together. Melissa is three months pregnant and due in February 2011.

Melissa and Tye confessed they weren’t even planning to get pregnant, but they couldn’t be happier when they found out. Well, Tye wanted to start a family soon and Melissa wasn’t ready yet.
“It was a shock. We weren’t even trying,” says Melissa.“It’s the most wonderful surprise in the world. It’s such a blessing.”
“He’s actually cried more than I have,” she tells Us. “Tye is caring, he’s funny. He’s going to be a great dad.”
The couple, who recently bought a new home near Dallas, wants to find out the sex of the baby as soon as possible. Tye wants a baby girl and Melissa is kind of hoping for a boy.
The future mom-to-be predicts she will gain a lot of weight since she’s “eating everything in sight” and craving sushi and sub sandwiches. “Knowing me, I’m going to swell and gain 90 pounds,” she says. “But it’s not about me anymore!”
