Actress Lindsay Lohan, who was sentenced to 90 days in jail yesterday by Judge Marsha Revel for violation of her parole, will likely only serve a small portion of her sentence due to overcrowding and the nature of her crimes according to L.A. County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore said women sent to jail for nonviolent crimes generally serve 25% or less of their sentence due to overcrowding.

Lohan will likely get credit for time served for her arrests over the past three years.  That number has yet to be determined but it will likely be 4 days.  So Lohan serving 25% of 86 days would be 21.5 days. So look for LiLo to serve 22 days or less behind bars which hopefully will wake up this once promising talented starlet.

Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson, has come out and apologized for things he said last year that he know says were not true….most notably on The Tyra Banks Show.

He had already apologized to Sarah and her husband, Todd Palin, privately.

Levi made claims that he lived with his girlfriend Bristol Palin before she became pregnant as well as the outlandish statement that Sarah called her Down’s Syndrome son “retarded.”

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” Johnston told CNN’s sister publication PEOPLE Magazine. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

Levi and Bristol have reconciled and are back together after several months of fighting and bickering.

It’s not like too many people, beyond the extreme Palin haters, believed in Johnson’s claims anyway.

Levi was one of the 10 Most Hated Celebrities 0f 2009.

Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her fiancé Ed Swiderski have decided to call it quits for now – to take a break to try to salvage their relationship. Jillian wants to temporary return to the safety of her parents’ home in Kelowna, B.C., Canada.

“Ed and Jillian hit a rough patch, so she thought quitting drinking was a good move. [A] healthy lifestyle and focusing on things that make her happy,” a source close to Jillian and Ed tells OK!.

The Bachelorette dramatically wants to change in order to achieve a healthier lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean there’s something in the oven. Jillian guarantees, “I am definitely not preggers!”

Actress Megan Fox and her longtime boyfriend/fiancé Brian Austin Green secretly tied the knot in a simple yet beautiful wedding ceremony in Hawaii on June 24. The first wedding pictures have finally come out (more pictures/video below).

Megan looked absolutely breathtaking in her strapless silk chiffon gown and carrying a gorgeous bouquet of white gardenias and roses. Brian and his son Kassius Green both dressed in white. The boy looked happy as he held a giant cone shell with the wedding rings. Simple and beautiful!

Singer Jessica Simpson, who is reportedly dating former NFL star Eric Johnson, will be turning 30 in a couple of days and her biological clock is ticking. Singer Dannii Minogue, who is Kylie Minogue’s sister, and her boyfriend Kris Smith have welcomed a healthy baby boy named Ethan Edward Smith at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia on Monday (July 5).

“Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5th July 2010,” reads a statement from manager Melissa Le Gear. “Mother and baby are doing well and dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents.”

The 38 year-old X-Factor judge and her British former rugby player recently moved from London to Melbourne to prepare for their bundle of joy’s arrival. Dannii confessed that she had not thought about having children until she finally met Kris. Congratulations to the new parents!

“Real Housewives Of Orange County” star Alexis Bellino could have had a tragic and dramatic Fourth Of July. The stroller carrying her 2 year-old twin daughters, Melania and Mackenna, which was left poolside unattended, rolled into the water at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, California.

According to witnesses, a lifeguard pulled the stroller out of the water with one child still in it, while Alexis’ husband, Jim Bellino, dove into the water to save his other baby daughter. The toddlers are OK and did not need medical attention. Jim told TMZ, “There was no lifeguard needed or involved.”

We are just glad the kids are alive and well. Summer is a very dangerous season for kids and too many drown when left unsupervised near the water. Be careful. Stay alert!
