Twitter nation was on fire last night after Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi’s out-of-control split became an out-of-control splat on national television last night after the Bachelorette.

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi took their nasty Bachelor breakup to ABC Sunday night and boy did it get explosive and nasty between the former engaged couple.

Vienna came across as believable, victimized, and traumatized by Jake.

Jake came across as an abusive and controlling jerk of a douche that left most of America feeling compassion for Vienna.  Something no one could have predicted months ago.

Both Jake and Vienna tweeted from their Twitter accounts following the show where Vienna got up and walked off after Jake exploded with anger at her, in a fit of fury, in which for a moment it looked like he might hit her on national television.

Jake kept his tweet short and simple, “Thanks everybody! I really appreciate the ongoing support.”

While Vienna used a few more of her 140 characters than Jake, “Thank you for all your support. The truth will always prevail. I’m so glad people see what I have been going through. Love you all”

Former #1 NFL draft pick JaMarcus Russell was arrested earlier today in Mobile, Alabama for possession of a controlled substance.  The controlled substance Russell was arrested for was codeine syrup.

Myles said Russell was arrested at his home early this afternoon during an undercover investigation.  He was booked into Mobile Metro Jail at 4:22 p.m.   Russell was released minutes later after making $2,500 bail, according to online records.

Russell is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.  A bond hearing is set for July 7.

Russell played his high school football in Mobile before playing for three seasons for the LSU Tigers. He was the #1 pick by the Oakland Raiders in 2007, but released by the team earlier this year and three totally horrific seasons.

After being drafted by the Raiders Russell signed a $61 million contract with $32 million of it guaranteed.  Due to the large financial sums involved, and his total lack of production, he is considered by many as the biggest bust in NFL Draft history.  Even ahead of the NFL Draft bust gold standard…Ryan Leaf.

A woman named Marilyn finally came forward claiming Bobby is the father of her 9 year-old daughter, a girl by the name of Jinky Young.
