Former Playboy Playmate Jennifer Rovero, Paris Hilton’s new BFF, was arrested after pleading guilty to pot possession during the Netherlands vs. Brazil quarterfinal World Cup match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Friday (July 2)- more pictures below.

The judge dropped charges against Paris and she will remain irresponsibly free. If she had been charged for the crime, Paris could face more jail time in the USA for violation of her probation.

Paris’ good friend was convicted and will have to face 30 days in jail or pay a fine and leave the country in 14 days. Jennifer was so generous. Paris ought to be paying that fine because her freedom is worth it.

Paris sent a message to all her fans via Twitter explaining the incident.

Paris tweeted, “Hey guys, there’s a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine. I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn’t do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions. Everyone was super nice and friendly to me. I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern. Xoxo P”

“Rock Of Love” contestant Beverly Palmer, who vied for Bret Michaels’ heart on season 3, was officially charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI) and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.

Beverly, who was clearly drunk and failed field sobriety tests, crashed into another car with no injuries at around 1:45 am on May 1. The reality star may face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, if convicted.

NFL star Kyle Boller and controversial beauty queen Carrie Prejean exchanged vows in a lavish private “opposite” wedding ceremony at Capella Church, located inside the Grand Del Mar Hotel in California on Friday (July 2).

Carrie walked down the aisle in a one-shoulder mermaid-style white gown (first picture of the bride above). The ceremony was short – 25 minutes of prefect wedding bliss shared with friends and family. Carrie and her husband Kyle were whisked away in a white Rolls Royce Phantom.

Paris Hilton was arrested earlier today, along with he friend Jennifer Rovero, at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium while attending the World Cup on marijuana possession charges.

A local judge dropped the charges against Hilton after Rovero plead guilty to the possession.

Hilton could have faced more jail time here in the states if she had been found guilty and in violation of her probation.

Hopefully Hilton compensates Rovero nicely for taking the rap and guilt over their high times in South Africa.

Socialite Paris Hilton was reportedly arrested and escorted from the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa after allegedly being caught smoking weed during the Netherlands vs. Brazil quarterfinal match on Friday (July 2).

The Provincial Head of Detectives, Mark Magadlela, already confirmed Paris was taken to the police station in St. Croix and was quickly released. Ah! Paris wanted to have a good time and probably thought pot was legal in Africa. Well, it isn’t!

Paris took some pictures with her girl friends during the match and posted them on Twitter. Paris tweeted, “At The World Cup with @CamRaFace. With my girls @MissKaylaHunt AKA @ParisHilton_Fan and @Ms_Logan_Hunt at the game!”

Four hours later, Paris added, “Had so much fun at the game today. What a match! I love South Africa!” She did not mention any pot incident, but then again, she wouldn’t because she must have played the dumb card and denied everything.

Nick Prugo was indicted by the LA County Grand Jury for his alleged role in the Burglar Bunch crime spree, which included the burglaries of several celebrity Hollywood homes. The famous victims are Audrina Patridge, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom and Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox.

Those figures of Elin Nordegren getting $750 million from her soon-t0-be ex-husband Tiger Woods seem to be erroneous.  Elin will in fact get only…$100 million or about $5 million per hooker/stripper/whore Tiger banged during the marriage.

TMZ explains why the $750 million figure was way off:

There have been reports Elin would score $750 million, but we have confirmed that figure is wrong.  Indeed, as we first reported, Tiger is not even worth $750 million.  We’re told his net worth is somewhere between $500 and $600 million.

TMZ went on to state that it is nearly 10x what Rachel Uchitel received from Tiger to keep her mouth shut on her affair with the golfing legend.  So Elin was only worth 10x what Rachel got?  Either Rachel made out extremely well (DUH!) or Elin got screwed again by not getting screwed.

“Girls Gone Wild” Joe Francis is officially engaged to a beautiful CBS News Entertainment reporter named Christina McLarty, the niece of Mack McLarty, former White House chief of staff to Bill Clinton (more pictures/video below).

Christina and Joe have been dating on and off for more than four years and finally decided to take the next big step. They have already set the wedding date – it will be a September wedding, but it won’t be traditional.

“We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don’t believe it’s appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States,” Joe Francis told Page Six.

The lovebirds are planning a private ceremony with 200 guests at Casa Aramara, Joe’s beachfront estate in Punta Mita, Mexico. Quincy Jones will be Joe’s best man! “This will be a nontraditional celebration of love, family and friends,” Francis said.
