This is absolutely unacceptable! This guy has eight kids! Does Mel want other guys to treat his daughters the way he treats women? Not to mention these comments have a very racist tone.

“Ferris Bueller” star Jeffrey Jones was arrested after forgetting to update his sex offender registration on the day of his 63rd birthday last September.  Jeffrey pled no contest to paying a minor to take sexually explicit pictures back in 2003 and is required to register annually as a sex offender.

When the actor forgot to update his registration, he became a wanted man. Jeffrey was finally arrested and charged with a felony last Wednesday. He was later released on $20,000 bail and may face up to three years in state prison. OUCH!

St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa didn’t hold back in voicing his opinion about the controversial new Arizona immigration law when his team played the Arizona Diamondbacks earlier this week.

“I’m actually a supporter of what Arizona is doing,” La Russa said. “If the national government doesn’t fix your problem, you’ve got a problem. You’ve got to fix it yourself. That’s just part of the American way.”

I am a Cardinals fan but that is not why I agree with Tony. The federal government has done nothing to curb the massive illegal immigration problem in this country.  When the fed fails it often takes an overreaching state law, such as could be the case in Arizona, to wake up the President, Congress, and feds to come up with a more desirable solution to the problem.

It’s a very sticky issue that politicians have avoided for years out of fear of alienating portions of their voting base.

The Arizona law is not perfect, but it was just exactly what was needed to wake up everyone in Washington to counter with something more idealistic for all involved.

The Rutherford Reader is a small newspaper in Murfreesboro, Tennessee that is fighting for its First Amendment rights after Kroger grocery stores and a KFC franchise quit displaying the paper.

They quit displaying the newspaper after receiving at least one complaint that the paper was publishing “hate speech.”  The big uproar is more directly tied to articles in the Reader railing against an Islamic mosque being built in the county.  Justin O. Smith, a guest writer, wrote that Islam was “evil” in the April 8-14, 2010 issue.

“While I respect the works of moderate Muslims such as Irshad Manji (‘Faith Without Fear’) and Tarek Fatah (‘Chasing A Mirage’), I wholeheartedly, unfortunately, must assert that the U.S. must halt all future Muslim immigration, until Muslims acquiesce to living within the legal structures of their host nations rather than striving to restructure nations under an evil, de-humanizing, backward and defiling 12th century ideology, even should this take the next 50 years,” guest columnist Justin O. Smith wrote in the April 8-14 issue.

Now the paper is attempting to fight back against Kroger and KFC claiming their First Amendment rights have been violated.

But the family owned newspaper likely had no First Amendment rights violated as the government didn’t suppress the paper.  Kroger and KFC simply made a business decision not to display the newspaper any more.

But under the banner of any publicity is good publicity, Rutherford Reader co-owner Pete Doughtie states that circulation and subscriptions have increased since Kroger and KFC yanked the paper.

Britney Spears’ former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, the same man who accused the singer of sexual harassment (more details here), contacted the LA County Department of Children and Family Services to reveal her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were victims of abuse.

Flores told Britney whipped one of her sons with a belt and abused both of them. These accusations were made more than a month after he allegedly quit his job because he could not handle Britney’s sexual advances. Child services already investigated the case and determined the claim had no merit.

A source close to Britney and her family tells TMZ, “The allegations made by Fernando Flores are absurd.” The source adds, “Flores was never an employee of Britney. He was never an employee of the Spears family. He worked part-time for a security company.”

And another gold digger tries to take advantage of Britney. We do not believe Britney would ever sexually harass anyone and she is a bit clumsy, distracted and has a lot of problems, but I think no one ever proved she was a bad mother. Brit just needs to take care of herself and be the best mother she can for her children. The three of them look so cute together!
