Adrienne Simmons, a 34 year-old kickboxer from Atlanta, died a couple of days after being knocked unconscious by her opponent Lindsay Scheer at an International Kickboxing event in Orlando, Florida on Sunday (July 25).

Adrienne was hit with a left hook that knocked her unconscious and taken to an Orlando hospital where she passed away on Tuesday (July 27). Scheer’s coach, Eric Haycraft, who also coaches Adrienne’s boyfriend Chike Ajuda, criticized the tournament for not having an ambulance immediately available.

President of International Kickboxing Federation, Steve Fossom, claims there should be an ambulance on-call, but for some reason it was not present in the fight. It took more than an hour to get Adrienne to a hospital.

R.I.P. Adrienne Simmons.

Actor George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is reportedly being investigated after she was caught by a witness, a former model turned hooker named Karima Menad, snorting cocaine at a nightclub in Milan, Italy back in 2007.

“I remember taking cocaine with Elisabetta Canalis and two others,” Menad told prosecutors in 2008 in documents obtained by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. “We were in The Club and it was December 2007. We had been at a party of some famous, rich celebrity whose name I cannot remember. I don’t remember who brought the drugs but we all took it.”

Menad’s testimony allowed prosecutors to seize and shut down two famous Milan hotspots, The Club and Hollywood, which led to the arrest of five people. However, it also unveiled a dirty undercover world of sex and drugs, where women were often invited to entertain celebrity customers at private tables.

“Their job was to encourage these customers to drink alcohol as to increase the table’s bill, followed up by sex off premises,” prosecutor Frank Di Maio stated in the documents. “They were often given cocaine for free by those who want to sit at a table of famous people…they want the visibility that comes from being seated at a central table, and to be seen with models, or celebrities from fashion, entertainment and sport.”

The 31 year-old Italian model was allegedly part of this sex/cocaine underworld before she started dating Clooney in 2009. The 49 year-old actor always had a very clean image and reputation, so this could be the end of George and Elisabetta’s relationship.
