NASCAR team owner Jack Roush and passenger Brenda Strickland were involved in a plane crash while landing at the Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Tuesday (July 27)- graphic pictures and video below.

The Roush’s Premier Beechcraft jet hit the runway with a loud bang while landing. An eyewitness, Roger Florkiewicz, tells, “The right wing tip hit the right side of the grass to the right of the runway, and then immediately after, the nose hit and it cartwheeled, tail over the nose, and then skidded to a stop.”

Jack and the passenger both walked out of the plane. Jack, who had a bloody face and blood stains covering his clothes when he came out of the plane (photo below), was immediately taken to the hospital. He is in a serious but stable condition.

“There are injuries. Possible surgery,” Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith said in a text message to The Associated Press. “But he walked out of the plane.”

“Each exited the aircraft following the accident,” the EAA statement said. “Both were transported to local hospitals, with Roush in serious but stable condition and Strickland with non-life threatening injuries. The NTSB is leading the investigation into the accident.”

This is the second plane crash Jack has survived. He previously crashed a plane into a pond in Alabama back in 2002 and was lucky enough to be rescued by an ex-Marine who lived nearby. Jack loves to fly and continues to do so as he actually owns several aircrafts. We wish Jack a quick and full recovery.

“Sister, Sister” star Tamera Mowry and her longtime boyfriend, FOX News correspondent Adam Housley, are officially engaged to tied the knot. The 38 year-old finally went down on one knee during a romantic trip to Italy last week.

Despite her family not approving their relationship, Tamera said “YES!” Tamera will have to count on her identical twin sister, Tia Mowry, to help her plan the wedding that will most likely be held at Adam’s family’s vineyard in Napa.

“They were engaged a few years ago, but broke it off,” the insider says. “They have been dating on and off for the past year and now he has put a ring on her finger once again.”

“Her family is not crazy about him,” the source says. “Tia and Adam don’t always get along, but the couple are happy together and giving it another try.”

The last moments of Captain Phil Harris and his son Josh Harris were caught on tape and shown in a very special episode titled “Redemption Day” of the “Deadliest Catch”, which was watched by more than 8.5 million viewers (watch video below). Phil Harris died of complications from a stroke in February 2010.

Phil’s son Josh Harris is actually glad the last intimate moment with his father was captured by the camera because it has helped preserve his memory, but it has not offered him or his brother Jake Harris any closure.

“They taped the last conversation I had with my dad,” Josh tells Us. “I remember leaving the hospital and it really sucked. It was very difficult for me.”

“I think it’s like, I keep thinking this whole thing is a joke. Like he’s going to pop out of the woodwork somewhere and say “I got you good, f***er,” and come back to work,” Josh says. “But that’s not going to happen. I got to see what I got to say to him in the last little bit and I actually feel very grateful and fortunate for that.”

Even though he refused to work alongside his dad Phil for years, Josh confessed that it gave him the chance to really know his father and their relationship only got stronger. However, the 26 year-old fisherman is planning to leave the Cornelia Marie and the icy waters for a healthier and warmer lifestyle.

“We became best buddies, working partners,” Josh tells Us. “We just generally spent time and got to hang out and learn who each other were. It was an awesome thing to have gotten that opportunity.”

“My first plan is to take a vacation somewhere warm with drinks with little umbrellas in them. Preferably the only crab I’ll see will be in a cartoon!” Josh tells Us. “I just want to relax for a little bit. I have also started on a wellness kick. I am trying to quit smoking and [my brother] Jake’s trying to follow suit. Smoking is what killed my father so we’re going around the U.S. helping people know about what problems and effects happen when you start smoking. We want to use our celebrity to help people stop smoking and just more than that, just be healthy. We want to help try and save people’s lives.”

The season finale of the Deadliest Catch included a tribute the Captain and marked the end of an era in a two-hour episode, which aired on Discovery Channel on Tuesday (July 27). R.I.P. Captain Phil Harris.

Actor Maury Chaykin has passed away of kidney problems surrounded by his family at the hospital in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday (July 27). The exact day Maury was supposed to celebrate his 61st birthday.

“He was one of our greatest actors,” said Mark McKinney, producer of “Less Than Kind”, adding that the cast was devastated by the death. “Maury’s an actor of unparalleled gifts, you cannot learn what he had in spades — you could study for 1,000 years. He had an incredible gift, an instant quickness.”

Maury was best known by his roles in “Dances With Wolves”, “Mystery, Alaska”, “A Life Less Ordinary”, “The Postman” and “The Adjuster”, but he also appeared in TV shows like “CSI”, “Boston Legal” and “Entourage”.

The 61 year-old actor is survived by his wife, actress Susannah Hoffman, and their daughter Rose.

R.I.P. Maury Chaykin.
