Michael Douglas Diagnosed with Throat Cancer

Actor Michael Douglas, who has been married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jonas for almost ten years, is set to undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy to treat a tumor discovered on his throat.

The 65 year-old is expected to make a full recovery. “I am very optimistic,” Douglas said in a statement. The location of where the actor will be treated was not disclosed to preserve his privacy.
