“Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was taken into police custody for outstanding warrants for his arrest involving unpaid parking tickets in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, on Sunday (August 15).

A press release from the Seaside Heights PD says, “On August 15, 2010 Ronald Ortiz was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants from two separate jurisdictions … Mr. Ortiz was transported to the Seaside Heights Police Department where he was processed and later released after satisfying the conditions of these warrants.”

Ronnie went to the police station, finally paid the parking tickets and was shortly released. Poor Ronnie is already safe and sound at home. This incident was pretty lame compared to Snooki’s arrest for disorderly conduct a couple of weeks ago. I guess that’s why she is the bigger star.
