Jimi Hendrix might have tragically passed 40 years ago, but he is still winning accolades as the best to ever strum a guitar.  The L.A. Times Magazine had a panel of experts name the 50 Greatest Guitar Players of All-Time and Hendrix came out as the best.

I was surprised to see that Slash, of Guns N’ Roses, fame didn’t make the top 50.  I love country legend Roy Clark, but bit clueless how he made the list over Slash.
