Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer of ‘True Blood’ Wed
HBO True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer tied the knot Saturday night at a private residence located in Malibu, California. The two began dating a few months after True Blood began filming in 2008. The couple, who play lovers Snookie Stackhouse(Paquin)and Bill Compton(Moyer) on the show, intentionally didn’t confirm their romance until February of 2009. Paquin expalined:
“It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn’t feel it was fickle….We didn’t want to take anything away from the show.”
Paquin and Moyer were wed exchanged vows under a tent across the street from the beach. Their guests included Elijah Wood and True Blood co-star Carrie Preston with her husband, Lost star, Michael Emerson. It was reported that many guests arrived with purple boxes with bows of the same color.

The couple announced their engagement in August of 2009. Moyer popped the question to Paquin on a Hawaiian beach, and presented her with the ring he designed with the help of jeweler Kathy Waterman. He gushed to Playboy in July:
“With Anna it’s just about pure trust, on camera and off. I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna.”
Moyer has two children from two previous relationships; Billy and Lilac. He splits his time between his home in London and the home he shares with Paquin in Venice, California.
