Actor Martin Short’s wife, Nancy Dolman, passed away at the couple’s Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles, California on Monday (August 23). Nancy was 58 years old.

The paramedics responded to an emergency call for medical help at their home, where they were for about 30 minutes before leaving without transporting anyone to a hospital. Nancy most likely died at home and the cause of death is still unknown.

“Sadly, we can confirm that Martin Short’s wife did pass away,” said Martin’s rep Camille Kuznetz. “We do not have any other comment to make.”

Martin and Nancy met on the production of the 1972 musical “Godspell” and they were married for more than 30 years. Nancy decided to retired from acting to raise her family back in 1985. The couple had three children together, Katherine (26), Oliver (24), and Henry (21).
