American Idol Fantasia Barrino planned a complex suicide plot in a desperate attempt to convince her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook, to finally marry her and as a big publicity stunt for the release of her new album “Back To Me”, according to the National Enquirer.

This may sound too far-fetched and completely cruel and ridiculous, but there’s more… Fantasia is reportedly three months pregnant with Antwaun’s baby and planning to marry as soon as his divorce from estranged wife Paula Cook is final.

A source reveals, “Fantasia took the pills, but she knew what she was doing. Fantasia had no intention of taking her life. I think it was just a plot she cooked up to push Antwaun’s buttons. And it worked… Fantasia is a master manipulator… when Paula finds out Fantasia is pregnant and Antwaun is the father, she’s going to flip… [meanwhile] Fantasia is very pleased with herself.”

“She’s about three months along, and it’s definitely Antwaun’s baby,” a close family friend revealed. “Right now she can’t show how happy she is in public – but she’s absolutely thrilled. Fantasia got what she wanted. She feels Antwaun will have to marry her now.” (National Enquirer via Celebitchy)

Fantasia has publicly admitted she did indeed try to commit suicide after reading court documents filed by Mrs. Cook, in which the Idol was named as the woman who ruined their marriage.

Fantasia couldn’t handle the pressure and took an overdose of aspirin and sleeping pills before she made sure to texted her manager, who was apparently just downstairs, to say goodbye.

The manager then released an extensive statement explaining Fantasia felt desperate, guilty and betrayed by the man she loved. She gives an intimate personal interview to explain all her heartache.

And Fantasia’s new album’s release date was never changed. You would expect someone who has been through what Fantasia did to slow down and take time to cover, but she is busy doing her promotional tour right now.

Could Fantasia really be this cold and manipulative? I don’t want to believe someone would be capable of faking suicide and possibly a pregnancy, and who knows what else, to “tie” a man. Spine-chilling!
