The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony hosted by Jimmy Fallon was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (August 29). Celebrities shined or tried really hard to and failed miserably on the red carpet. Check out the best and worst dressed celebs in the photo gallery below.

The red carpet was totally disappointing this year. There were too many fashion disasters and wtf’s. What were Sofia Vergara and Christina Hendricks thinking? They are both gorgeous and both failed to find a color that would flatter their incredible curvy figure. Super MILF Heidi Klum looked kind of desperate in a super short black dress.

Newlywed Anna Paquin’s dress was simply awkward and uncomfortable. Mad Men star January Jones brought some color to the red carpet in a hideous electric blue dress. Kelly Osbourne and Maria Menounos looked scary skinny. And, finally, Eva Longoria and Lea Michele looked absolutely adorable in their strapless gowns, but they didn’t wow.

Oh, Jane Lynch was extra elegant last night!
