That’s all?

Teresa Giudice, of Real Housewives of New Jersey, and her husband Joe filed for bankruptcy in October of 2009. According to bankruptcy reports, the couple is in more than 11 million dollars worth of debt. The family’s possessions will be up for auction later this month, unless their attorney can stop it.

Alan Atkins, of A. Atkins Appraisal Corporation, predicted the forced sale of the family’s items will only total $51,160.  It’s rather sad to read the list of items up for sale: children’s toys, tires, mirrors, rugs, and even a $750 lot of costume jewelry. The couple’s wedding bands were also appraised with Teresa’s 14 kt. yellow gold band at $150 and her husband’s 14 kt. white gold band set at $240. I do feel bad for Teresa, but my heart really goes out to the kids. Teresa and Joe should have lived within their means and they wouldn’t have had to go through all of this. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

That’s gotta hurt a little.

Kara Dioguardi apparently found out she was fired from American Idol in a NEWSPAPER. FOX, can’t you have the decency to make a phone call?!?

According to her father, Republican senate candidate Joe DioGuardi, she found out the way we did:

“She read it the way you did and I did. Would you believe she did not hear — and still has not heard — anything? Her disappointment is that that’s the way she’s being treated and she feels that’s not proper. I think they’re trying to create a lot of buzz… they’re trying to reformat the thing.”

Joe isn’t worried that his daughter’s career will suffer though:

“Kara has a very deep career in music. She’ll be fine. Would she want to do it another year? I think so… I think at some point [she] will confront them on that.”

I’ve gotta admit I’m shocked FOX hasn’t made any attempt to reach out to Kara. She wasn’t the best judge, but she certainly wasn’t scum.

Oscar winner Halle Berry appears on the cover of Vogue‘s coveted September fashion issue. Halle looks stunning, and is sporting a new chic bob. During her first interview in three years (WHAT?!?), the movie star opens up about everything from having a baby to breaking up with hottie Gabriel Aubry.

On her love for the female body:

“I love the naked female form…. I just feel like that’s the most empowered position you can be in. That comes with age. I’ve been slowly getting there. If the world wouldn’t persecute me, I’d take nude pictures every day of the week.”

On her public breakup with Aubry:

“It’s just that you realize you are not meant to go the distance with everybody. We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world. And I think that’s why we came together. And because of that, we are going to be together forever, all three of us. We are a family until we are not here anymore.”

“We have always been friends, we’re still friends, we love each other very much, and we both share the love of our lives. And we are both 100 percent committed to being the best parents we can be. And while it was not a love connection for us, he was absolutely the right person to have this child with because she is going to have an amazing father. And that was really important to me. On the buzz surrounding the “Oscar curse”:

“Everybody talks about the Oscar curse. People win Oscars, and then it seems like they fall off the planet. And that’s partly because a huge expectation walks in the room and sits right down on top of your head. The moment I won the Oscar, I felt the teardown the very next day. I thought, If I’m going down, I’m going down taking chances and daring to risk. Hence…Catwoman.”

Vogue couldn’t have gotten a better cover for their biggest issue of the year. Halle is the epitome of class, elegance, and style; everything a Vogue reader aspires to be. I’ll definitely be picking up this issue. Will you?

Eminem remains lock-solid strong in the #2 spot with Recovery.

Dimwit socialite Paris Hilton is being sued for $35 million dollars by Hairtech International Inc., a hair extensions company, for wearing extensions of a rival company while under contract with Hairtech.

The suit claims that Hilton breached the contract by wearing the competitor extensions in 2008.  The legal filing goes on to claim that Hilton also failed to show for the product launch party, due to serving time in jail for her DUI arrests, and that the company lost $6.6 million from that alone.

Hairtech also claims that Hilton’s partying was in violation of their marketing campaign.

Who did they think they were hiring?  All Paris does is party, albeit while usually getting paid large sums of cash to do it.

The amount Hairtech is seeking seems a bit frivolous.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the court system and if Paris will be liable or have to pay up to Hairtech.

According to a source close to the singer, Shania Twain is being considered as a season 10 American Idol judge. The singer has apparently been on the top of FOX‘s list for quite some time. The source said:

“They’ve been after her ever since she was a mentor on the show last season. And they haven’t given up.”

Last season, Twain was a guest judge in Chicago during the audition process. She also mentored contestants on the show in April. The source added:

“Shania’s a huge fan of the show and she had a great time as a mentor.”

Yesterday, it was announced that Jennifer Lopez is out of the running as a replacement. At this point, I think, like I suggested yesterday, they should bring back Paula Abdul. Bring that crazy woman back! I NEED Paula. Just imagine Paula and Steven Tyler together. Drugs, love, and sparkly head wraps. Somebody hire me at FOX already.

I’m not knockin’ Shania. She would be a great judge too. Nobody can deny the fact that the woman can sing. She’s pretty to look at, but not crazy enough for my liking. Her rep had no comment as to whether or not she would be joining the show.

Maribel “Mary” Delgado was arrested for DUI on Thursday morning around 12:45am in Tampa, FL. According to Florida papers, she was released on a $500 bond after she refused to take a blood alcohol test. Delgado was previously arrested twice: Once in 2007 for allegedly punching season 6 Bachelor Byron Velvick, and again in 2008 for public drunkenness in a Texas bar.

Delgado, 42, is best known for winning The Bachelor season 6. Not only did Byron Velvick give Delgado the final rose, he also popped the question. After she was arrested for the infamous punching incident, Velvick claimed that he and Delgado were still together:

“Just because you met on a reality show, got engaged on this beautiful incredible setting doesn’t mean that we’re Prince Charming or Beautiful Princess. It’s nothing like that. It’s just a real couple going through real things.”

The two split in 2009 after 5 years together.

NBA journeyman Earl Watson claimed in a divorce petition last week that his wife, actress Jennifer Freeman, exploded in rage at Watson after he checked her phone, when she received a late night text message.

Watson claims that Freeman hit him twice in the face before she tried to attack him with an iron. Luckily for his sake, Watson was able to knock the iron away before he was steamrolled.

According to legal papers filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, Watson claims things got bad on August 1st … when Jennifer received a suspicious text message at 11PM and Earl decided to check her phone.

Watson — who played with the Indiana Pacers last season — claims his wife was furious that he took the phone and reacted by hitting him “forcefully twice in the face with her right open hand.”

Watson claims Jennifer then “grabbed my right wrist and bit … breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.”  Once she let go of the wrist, Watson claims she then chomped down on his chest … again drawing blood.

Earl claims Jennifer then tried to attack him with an iron — but he was able to knock it out of her hand.

But as with most domestic abuse cases, things can change rather quickly. Watson no longer wants a divorce and hopes to work things out with Jennifer.

Freeman married Watson just over a year ago, in May of 2009.  The two have a 10-month old daughter together named Isabella Amour Watson.

Watson has played for several teams in his NBA career including the Memphis Grizzlies, Seattle Sonics, Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Indiana Pacers.

Freeman is best known for her role as ‘Claire Kyle’ on the TV sitcom My Wife and Kids.

American Idol season 7 contestant Asia’h Epperson was arrested early this morning for beating up a woman at the Colony club in Hollywood.

Epperson was leaving the club with rapper Too Short when she was arrested and taken down to the police station to be booked.

The victim claims that Epperson and her sister bruised her up pretty good.

Asia’h has been released on bond.

“Like so many Americans, she was trying to construct a life that made sense from things she found in gift shops.”

According to sources, Glee star Mark Salling, 27,  and teen pop sensation Selena Gomez, 18, are rumored to be dating. A source close to Selena said the two were flirty during the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, and they “may be an item”:

“They were texting during the awards, even though Selena was front row and Mark was backstage co-hosting. Every time Mark came up on stage, she was beaming ear to ear.”

Looks like Mr. Salling might be robbing the cradle with little Selena. Mark recently announced that he would be releasing his debut album, Pipe Dreams, this fall. Maybe having Selena on his arm will boost record sales? Maybe not. Yesterday, Mark revealed his first single Higher Power on Ryan Seacrest‘s morning show and received “rave reviews.”

The Kardashian sisters will release an autobiography; and Kim, Kourtney and Khloe posted a picture of their new book’s cover on Kim’s blog.

From Kim:

The autobiography– ‘Kardashian Konfidential’– is set to release in November.  I can’t wait to find out all of the things I didn’t know about the Kardashian sisters, since it’s not like they have their own reality show or anything.
