A man who claims to be the biological father of Madonna‘s 4-year-old daughter has come forward in hopes of meeting her, but Madonna says absolutely not.

Madonna adopted Mercy from a Malawi orphanage last year.

The man– 26-year old James Kambewa from Durban– is making claims that he fathered the little girl.

According to the singer’s spokesperson Barbara Charone:

“The extended family members had no knowledge of a father. The village leadership had no knowledge of a father… the mother was raped and left.”

Madonna, naturally, being that she is a mega-star, is skeptical and put her foot down regarding the idea.

Her son David, adopted in 2006 with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, is also from Malawi.

I’m sure this man is full of it, and these sorts of things happen ALL THE TIME when people want to make some $$, but can’t they do a paternity test?

Former Guns’N’Roses lead guitarist Saul Hudson aka Slash just filed for divorce from his wife Perla Ferrar at the LA County Superior Court in Los Angeles, California on Monday (August 30)- more pictured below.

Slash cites irreconcilable differences and is seeking the joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, 8 year-old London Emilio and 6 year-old Cash Anthony. Perla and Slash separation seems to be not even close to amicable.

The couple tied the knot without signing a pre-nuptial agreement in October of 2001. The date of separation is listed as July 15, 2010.

A toilet (with blue flowers painted on it) that once belonged to the late, great John Lennon sold for $15,500 over the weekend.

It was only expected to sell for $1,600, but Beatles fans got into a bidding war and one private bidder flushed (hilarious) a big chunk of change right down the toilet– literally.

Steven Bailey, the auction organizer, told the Daily Telegraph before the sale:

“The toilet might be worth something and it might not, but it is certainly one of the more unusual items we’ve sold,”

In 2003 a fan paid $43,000 for a “wooden sculpture of a cupboard designed by Lennon”.

Wow.

This year’s toilet sale was just one of 303 lots on auctioned at the 33rd annual Beatle Week Festival in Liverpool this past weekend.

The throne was apparently a part of his Tittenhurst Park estate in Berkshire, England.

I wonder if the buyer will use the potty for its intended purpose?

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and his girlfriend Adrienne Williams are officially engaged to be married, his rep Tammy Brook confirmed. The couple hasn’t set the date yet.

The 26 year-old, who signed a $100 million contract with the Heat, romantically proposed in their Miami home at sunset. Then, the newly engaged couple went out to celebrate with friends. Romance is not dead!

A source told Page Six: “Chris proposed to Adrienne outside their new home in Miami at sunset. They then went out and celebrated with friends at Liv Nightclub, where Adrienne was seen showing off a huge diamond ring. They are both really happy.”

Adrienne and Chris have been dating for about a year, but they have a pretty good relationship. She is currently living with the NBA star in Miami, where Chris is set to make one great season alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade for the Heat.

Socialite Paris Hiilton will most likely be charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance (0.8 grams of cocaine) after cops found a small amount of cocaine in the purse she was carrying when the car driven by her boyfriend Cy Waits was pulled over in Las Vegas on Friday (August 27).

TMZ is reporting, the cops immediately smelled “the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle”. Paris was embarrassed and asked to go to the bathroom inside the Wynn hotel, while a crowd of 100 people gathered around to watch the scene.
