GQ: What’s more unpleasant on set – being in incredibly tight clothing or smoking fake herbal cigarettes?
Christina Hendricks: I adore the incredibly tight clothing! My own wardobe’s changed – I’ve streamlined a little bit and definitely learnt from Joan’s sleekiness and tailoring. As for the herbal cigarettes, for the most part I don’t smoke as much as the guys do. I’m usually just strutting around a bit more so I don’t actually have to be inhaling it. I’m lucky because I do have scenes where the cigarettes work beautifully to punctuate certain things I’m saying.

Have you had any strange fan reactions?
It seems like a very masculine show but there are women who are absolutely obsessed by it. I had a girl last year who wrote me a very long letter about how she related to my character the most and how wonderful it was because she was having an affair with her boss at work. It was at that point I said, “It’s not my place to give any advice on this one!”

What is it that makes Joan special?
Joan’s a dream to play – she’s not always prancing around the office. There’s that side to it, which is really fun, but there’s nitty-gritty. She’s what makes the workplace so fun – in a workplace that can be so dark and so much tension, Joan gives some levity. And the wonderful thing is she still has these darker moments among the fabulous highs.

According to ABC, the cast of Dancing With the Stars will be announced during the August 30th episode of Bachelor Pad. This will be the 11th season of the show which began in 2005.

Rumors have circulated that celebrities such as English pop sensation Cheryl Cole, The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice, and Mel Gibson‘s scorned ex-wife Oksana Grigorieva may join the cast. Carrie Ann Inaba, a judge on DWTS, went as far as to make a public plea for Lindsay Lohan to appear on the show.

She said:

“Please, Lindsay Lohan, come on our show! I think it would be great for her. She’s so adorable. I think she needs a second chance and it would be a wonderful way to show the world she can pull it together.”

I second Carrie Ann’s thoughts. Not to mention Lindsay being on the show would bring HUGE ratings. However, I highly doubt the Lindz will be joining this cast with her stint in rehab set during the same time the show is running.

While I think drama draws anyone into a show, DWTS is a little different for me. Surprisingly enough, I actually want to see the contestants succeed. I certainly don’t want to watch a train wreck like Kate Gosselin. I enjoyed watching Nicole Scherzinger, but let’s face it, she was practically a professional when she came in. I want to see people who have never danced before really push to win our votes. In the end, it makes the finale that much sweeter.

Dancing With the Stars begins September 20th.

Spencer Pratt’s little sister, Stephanie Pratt and her Motocross boyfriend Josh Hansen are apparently going through a very nasty break up. The two have been cleaning their dirty laundry in public on Twitter.

Stephanie’s rep confirmed the break up and Josh felt the need to defend himself, tweeting, “Another disfunctional move by Stephanie pratt, I was under the impression u had to be someones bf in order to get dumped.”

The 32 year-old son of Frank Sinatra Jr., legendary singer/actor Frank Sinatra’s 66 year-old son, was rushed to the hospital after authorities received an emergency call for a possible suicide attempt in Downey, California on Monday afternoon (August 2).

Sinatra Jr.’s son, who is also named Frank, allegedly took too many pills, but he was reportedly still conscious when he was taken to the ER at Downey Regional Medical Center. Little Frank has never dealt well with the weight of his family name and always wanted to avoid the spotlight.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Sinatra family.

Actor Charlie Sheen managed to escape jail after he pled guilty on a misdemeanor assault charge related to the violent domestic incident with his wife, Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day 2009. Charlie will get to spend the 30 days of his sentence at the infamous Promises rehab center in Malibu, California.

*Begin soap box.*If you got hooked into Lost, much like I did, it must have crossed your mind at some point or another that things may not end the way you had originally pictured. After the first season, I thought, “Oh, wow! I bet these strange people will all be rescued at the end of the series!” After the second I thought, “This is a little weird. Where did all these other people come from?” Still hooked but skeptical in the third season I thought, “A freight?!? Are you kidding me?!?” And by the fourth season I said to myself, “This show is brilliant, but I have no clue what the hell is going on.” I will admit that I was confused and a little underwhelmed with the finale, but it did end on an emotionally satisfying note. Now take a chill pill if it didn’t end the way you had pictured in your mind. After all, you didn’t create the show. Right? There is no need to “abuse” the creators on Twitter for heaven’s sake! *End soap box.*

Former ‘N Sync star Lance Bass and Marc Jacobs’ former fiancé, Lorenzo Martone, have been dating for the past couple of months. The two reportedly met years ago, but only reconnected after Lorenzo split with Marc at an amfAR event in early June.

“They’re dating each other regularly, really like each other and enjoy each other’s company,” a friend of the couple tells People. “They’re going to take it one day at a time and see how it goes.”

“Lance wasn’t interested in dating right away because he was getting over his own breakup with [Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's] Kyan Douglas,” says the friend. “But Lorenzo was persistent, so they started talking and slowly spending more time together and really hit it off.”

“Lorenzo always thought Lance was really attractive, and Lorenzo is gorgeous, totally Lance’s type – tall, dark and handsome,” the source added.

Poor Lorenzo broke up with Marc, while Lance had broken up with Kyan Douglas. They were both single and ready to mingle, so why not? Apparently, the hot new gay couple has a lot in common – they like the same simple pleasures in life!
