Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole (née Cheryl Tweedy) and English soccer player Ashley Cole were granted a quick divorce at the High Court in London, England on Friday (September 3). The couple met in 2004 and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Hertfordshire in 2006.

Ashley and Cheryl were married for four years. The rumors Ashley was cheating on his wife with a hairdresser named Aimee Walton started in 2008. In an interview, Aimee revealed all about her drunken sexcapades with the soccer stud, but she wasn’t the only woman in his life. Glamour model Brooke Healy also claimed she had sex with Cheryl’s husband four months after they tied the knot.

Cheryl stopped wearing her wedding ring and their marriage seemed to be over. They reconciled, but more women came out. Ashley had had sex with five different women while married to Cheryl. The 27 year-old singer, who is rumored to be dating Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough, announced their separation in February of 2010.

Cheryl still hasn’t decided what named she is going to use. We hope she chooses to be Tweedy and forgets all about her ex-husband. The divorce order is preliminary and if neither side objects the divorce will be finalized within weeks.
